Introduction

This report contains recommendations and findings from an interview carried out in the health professionals that aimed at establishing the interdisciplinary approach by the organization's leadership. The discussion also focused on change theories that lead to a multidisciplinary approach. Before the start of the report on the conversation, there exists a need to disambiguate the concept of change theory as applied in nursing. The change model theorizes three stages comprising of freeze, unfreeze, and refreeze that require pre-learning for rejection or replacement. From the interview conducted various shortcomings manifested from the previous health practices. The defects comprise of extended stays, mutiny, transparency, confidentiality, and overprotection from friends and relatives that continue to impact negatively in the health spheres.

The principal purpose of a collaborative approach in nursing aims at improving patient care entails the complexity of the nursing environment forces the concept of the essentiality (Dickerson & Latina, 2017). The challenges in nursing continue receiving more attention to realize satisfaction in nursing practice. There exist various methods necessary for redesigning the nursing sector. The required first approach entails the application of meeting the unit's approach system.

The approach entails the increment of the system facilities required for the smooth running of the clinics. This notion helps in the realization of the goal of better performance in health facilities(Dickerson & Latina, 2017). The facilities that continue to employ the concept register significant positive results over a long period as compared to other facilities that fail to apply the same idea. The concept of team nursing posts various advantages over other facilities that fail to employ the concept of team nursing.

Ways Of Incorporating Different Evidence-Based Practice With An Interdisciplinary Team

The concept of evidence-based practice in nursing proves an essential process in running a health organization. The exercise also helps the evaluators of the organization to implement the best practice applicable in the medical field. The ways of evidence-based programs involve various methods that nurses and other stakeholders use to realize the full potential in their work (Bass, 2009). The first way consists in providing a solution to the clinical process. This practice entails the establishment of the frequently asked question and resorting to applying experienced evidence-based practitioners to give a guideline. The method also involves an analysis of the evidence presented in the leadership and the preexisting knowledge for comparison purposes. The other step in the realization of evidence-based practice interdisciplinary teams requires a reflection on the new study. The reference on the established research helps in realizing the best way and the compelling method necessary to approach change. Here the study addresses the question of legitimacy and relevance. The analysis was carried out within the scope of nursing practice and used most recently published as well as written materials available across reliable platforms.

Another method necessary to incorporate evidence-based practice in nursing involves the creation of a culture that includes this practice in the organization. This culture will call for a partnership between the nurses and other experienced employees in the health sector in improving the outcome of the patients(Bass, 2009). The next method involves the selection of the team members from the staff who appear dedicated to their roles and duties. This step brings different health sector stakeholders into an oral and unified solution of the answers to the problems surrounding the practice. The last process in the incorporation of evidence-based practice involves the search for the most suitable evidence for the research.

Change Management Theories And Leadership Strategies Necessary For Interdisciplinary Teams' Success

There exist various change management theories that apply differently in the nursing field and to different situations. The concept of change needs attention since it marks the vital element of practice. There exist various leadership theories necessary for nursing management to attain success in their quest for better health. These include Lewin's theory of dynamic forces working in opposing direction and Westley, Lippitt, and Watson's theory of planned change (Wagner, 2016). The speculation follows different stages in manifestation.

Kurt Lewin's theory requires the occurrence of imbalance to disambiguate the system contributing to the realization of the driving force in the change process. There also exist various leadership strategies that prove necessary in realizing interdisciplinary team success among the nurses(Wagner, 2016). These leadership skills include competency, commitment, and motivation, possession of excellent communication skills, the existence of active change agent and role model, strategic planning and networking, and collaboration with other stakeholders.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the concept of leadership does not only comprise of character but the combined effort of different individuals in a quest to realize the set goals. The greatest challenge a nurse or nursing management can experience includes driving the organization towards change. This notion calls for excellent skills and familiarity with the change theories, which can stand a test of time and post significant results as time continues to fade away. The concept of change and management of the nursing sector in the health facilities calls for more aggressive and extensive research that will help realize the full potential of management. The continued research in the nursing sector will ensure that society does not extend to suffer from poor management of the services necessary for the typical dweller.
