Introduction
Upon carrying out this research, the results that are obtained can aid in improving the various aspects of the community thus bringing about social change in many fronts. For example,Baker & Yang (2018) note that healthcare staff need to be equipped to effectively carry out their tasks. One of the results that was reflected by the study is that prospective social change is possible by helping healthcare staff understand why parents are making the choices they are when it comes to the delivery of their newborn. New born babies bring about unexpected set of expectations hence the need for involvement by healthcare staff (DeJonckheere et al., 2019).The problem to be addressed is where the parents get their information. Socila media was found to be a to-go-to platform due its ease of accessibility (Asiodu, Waters, Dailey, Lee, & Lyndon, 2015). A given nurse has experienced first-hand how decisions are being made that are not evidenced based. Most parents report seeking medical advice through social media groups (Baker & Yang, 2018). If changes are made at the local level for parents to seek advice from a knowledgeable healthcare provider, the outcome of uneducated decisions will have better results for both the mother and infant.Thus, a difference in the community can be made by identifying the sites and platforms commonly used (Liu &Guo, 2015). Such sites can be loaded with information that is verified and useful which can go along way to help the new mothers (Hilty et al., 2018).
In addition to this, links to external sources can be created should these sites contain less information (Mangold&Faulds, 2019). That being the case, mothers can be directed to platforms where there is practical concepts being explained as information.

The article adds to my research as it informs the basis of the study topic.

The article was authored by Baker and Yang who carried out an online study to find out the frequency of social media use among expectant mothers. The study was carried out for four weeks in 64 different countries increasing its credibility as a source of information to my research. The researchers found out that social media plays a significant role in disseminating health information among mothers.

It employed the use of text messaging to find out how first time mother think about weight gain during pregnancy. It was found out that they highly depend on the information available on social media sites. The article adds to my study by giving research options that can also lead to credible results such as text messaging.

It addresses the use of social media among the X, Y and Z generations in matters regarding healthcare. The authors advocated for more research to be done on the contribution of media to teaching the public on several issues including facilitating healthcare, especially among the youth.

The information in this article was documented by Maher and Dertadian who categorically describes the distinct characteristics of qualitative studies. The article explains the research process including how to select an appropriate research topic and data collection. The information adds to my research in guiding the research process to the end of the exercise aiming at reliable conclusions.

They highlight on how it helps in dissemination of valuable information if it is not misused. The article will help add to my research topic by giving more insights on the safety of information on social media and its influence in health.

The author argues that their education determines future competencies in research and also notes the importance of filling the gaps that exist in research training. The article is for a broad audience that includes experienced researchers and research students. It will add to my study by giving insights on the future direction in regards to research development.

The research study significance looked at what was known about blogging, which is the requirement for human interaction. The method used was an online survey consisting of open-ended questions. The researchers then used a grounded inductive process to generate coding which various themes emerged. The researchers concluded that blogging enhances the social health of young mothers.

This article highlights how patients depend on social media for healthcare social solutions. The authors opted for a systematic literature review; they included only 22 out of 1743 articles from which they identified the six categories of social media use among patients. These categories include social comparison, emotions, information, esteem, emotional expression, network support. The article concludes that social media is both beneficial and hazardous to the user, depending on how the subjects engage with it.
