Introduction
The challenging part concerning healthy living is that effects are witnessed gradually; this tends to be frustrating primarily if you are working effortlessly in the gym and adhere to the diet. Regardless of whether the results are immediate or gradual, the significant part is that the mind responds when healthy choices are enacted. The amendments not only in reducing ailments such as obesity and diabetes but also improve your cognitive abilities. Exercise and a balanced diet are proven to be useful for the muscles, and the brain is often considered as a muscle. Scientists have determined that physical activities and yoga have substantial effects on the brain and have the capability of altering its functioning in precise techniques. Furthermore, balanced diet with plenty of greens is believed to slow cognitive decline showing its responsibility of protecting the brain. Therefore, balanced diet and exercise maintain the mind sharp.
No drugs compare to what exercises and balanced diets achieve to do in mind. The two factors are associated with minimal depression, sharpened memory, and quick learning skills. Furthermore, they are considered as the best methods to prevent or delay the trigger of Alzheimer's ailment. Exercise influences and balances the blood flow to the brain, replenishing new blood vessels and cells because of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) (Oaklander & Jones, 2016). The protein triggers the development of new neurons assisting in brain cells regeneration while inhibiting degeneration. Furthermore, BDNF facilitates focusing on individuals. Exercise is believed to release some hormones that contribute to relieving depression symptoms. Therefore, exercise and balanced diet has psychological and emotion advantages; thus, it should be a lifestyle.
Exercise and dieting ascertain that the brain cells are replenished ensuring the person ages gracefully. Studies conducted have stated that moderate exercising regulates the aging of cells. The mind and the body are interconnected such that whatever the body experiences it influences the mind-affecting how individuals perform. Therefore, it is an obligation to ascertain that balance is maintained and this can only be achieved through exercise and diet because they impact the individual's wellbeing. Understanding how the body and the mind are connected is fundamental, for instance; during stressful occasions, the immune system is trained which manifests to the physical body making it frail. Therefore, including exercises in the routine ensures that the body is rejuvenated and some feel-good chemicals are released making the body and mind happy and relaxed (Martynoga, 2016). Having a structured diet and exercise provides a routine that defines the day's purpose providing a mind-booster and sunlight exposure that affects the pineal gland positively. The body-mind connection relies on the nutritional arena because what is consumed affects the daily activities. A balanced mind can be attained through consuming a diet that guarantees adequate nutrients for a healthy mood.
Exercise and diet provide the adequate mechanism to respond to social stress. Social stress tends to result in behavioral and emotional changes that relate to depression. According to Aubrey (2018), most greens in our diets contain bioactive compounds such Vitamin E and K that protects the brain from any harm. However, it is advisable to consume more of the green vegetables because insufficient levels of folate are associated with escalated levels of homocysteine which is associated with cognitive impairment among the elderly. Moreover, exercises not only sharpens your memory but also ensures that your focus and concentration stays on track. For example, students are required to take breaks and be playful before they can resume the next lessons. It helps them hone the aptitudes in multitasking, interpreting information, and assuming distractions. Furthermore, exercises have been associated with creativity. Walking or running has granted individuals wings to the imagination world providing opportunities to become the best versions of themselves (Martynoga, 2016). Finally, exercising reminds our brain the importance of moving and operating in an involving world; brains never function effectively in a secluded space. Therefore, always choose the thing that you enjoy and execute it in a free manner.

With the healthy options, diet and exercise operative as preventive measures against ailments and moods while extending the lifespan of an individual. Therefore, it is imperative to consume the right food and involve oneself in moderate exercises that will ensure the brain is protected and productive. It is vital to take care of your mental state because it determines your coordination in several activities because it alters the immune system and metabolism. Having a structured diet and routine exercise is beneficial to the mind because it provides boosters and sharpens the concentration and focus. Right nutrition and exercise maintain the memory and influences the mood.
