The procedure involves a negative and positive reward system; this system works by rewarding the employees who perform the best in the organization and ensuring that those who perform poorly get negative results too (Beer, 2017). For instance, if an individual is unfortunate to get an accident in the line of duty, the organization takes responsibility for all the expenses incurred during his recovery process. However, the incident has to be accidental, and there should prove that the subject in question was following the safety precautions put in place by the company (Patrina, 2014). The company works on the principle that the security and well-being of their workers is an asset. That is because, without healthy workers at their disposal, it would be impossible to achieve their respective goals. Additionally, Ford Motors supports employees who are unlucky to get long-term diseases such as cancer. Such workers are given paid leave to give them time to recover.

One of the major risks associated with working at Ford Motors is being exposed to various health hazards. The automobile industry deals with a lot of radioactive machinery related to life-threatening infections such as cancer (Patrina, 2014). Even with a covered insurance plan provided by the company, it does not guarantee a hundred percent safety. The majority of equipment used in the manufacturing industry is large and bulky. If an individual has an accident while operating such equipment, there is a high probability of developing a lifetime disability. However, if one is specialized in such operations, it is impossible to avoid such risks in their line of work (Wang et al, 2012). Hence, one must consider such factors before getting involved in the automobile industry.
Another negative aspect associated with working at Ford Motors is the probability of employees to overwork. Considering that the organization applies the compensational technique of administration for workers, it proves that it has developed a highly competitive environment. Such a situation means that every individual will be trying to come out as the best. The company's environment tends to encourage unhealthy competition within its employees in an attempt to get credits in the form of bonuses and promotions. Employees are given a thirty minutes’ lunch break, which is the only free time one is entitled to at the organization. The technique only tends to benefit a few workers rather than the entire working force of the company. This policy is a discouragement to the employees at the automobile company since not everyone can enjoy the benefits of their hard work.
The third major potential risk of working in the automobile industry is the interdependency of operations. The Ford Motors company tends to incorporate a variety of undertrained employees in the form of interns and associates (Patrina, 2014). The tendency poses a great risk to other workers considering the technicality of equipment operated on a daily basis. If there are many undertrained individuals, the probability of one of them making an honest mistake is relatively high. Additionally, the machines are upgraded on a regular basis, whereas training is not conducted in the same manner. The company must recruit a manageable number of newbies to minimize such risks.
Ford Motors has been faced with several lawsuits regarding the neglect of human rights. The matter has affected its repetition hence hindering the interest of talented individuals working in the automobile industry. During the start-up process, Henry Ford applied various strategies that were considered viable during that particular time. However, the industry has evolved, and some of these rules are not applicable anymore.
