Although nuclear energy provides an enormous source of energy using comparatively few raw materials, the waste it produces is hazardous to the living organism in an ecosystem. Even though the construction and preservation of nuclear power plants have proven to be very costly, the reason that makes it's cost-effective is during the generation of electricity from nuclear-powered cauldrons which is inexpensive than energy produced from "oil, gas and coal" [11]. Another factor can be a nuclear power is renewable. Since the production of electric energy is continuous, for example, electricity spawned from atomic reactors is done almost 90% of the annual period, and this helps in decreasing the price unpredictability of other fuels such as petrol, oil, etc.

Electricity generated from nuclear reactors contains a steady sordid load of energy. It can along using other reusable energy sources such as "wind and solar" [11]. Generating electricity through nuclear power reduces the extent of electricity produced from vestige petroleum (Carbon and oil), this implies that greenhouse gases emissions are subsequently lowered. By reducing the uptake of fossil fuels will augment on refining the quality of the air, thereby improving the quality of life and decreasing the rate of cardiovascular diseases occur in humans.

There is a continuous and efficient supply of energy, and it has lower miscellaneous expenses, even though it initially requires huge capital inflow to set up the nuclear plants the costs involved in operating them are small.

The role that nuclear energy should be in the current power grid is ensuring they enlarge the industry and increase electricity production across the world [8]. For example, the nuclear industry has set a goal to supply approximately 30% of the world's electricity by 2050, and this will mean there will be a need to construct 1000 GWe of new nuclear capacity. To achieve this goal, there has to be measures and steps to ensure this comes to reality by 2050 [8]. The measures include restructuring the energy markets, controlling and our idea of safety to make it a possibility. There is a need to ensure that electricity produced through nuclear power must be included along with all other low-carbon technologies, to ensure there is zero-emission and this will be focused on meeting its objectives by 2050. They also need to set out an active safety model concentrate on how they will be able to increase the nuclear capacity to meet their targets.

Power generation and use through nuclear reactors has been subjected to intense debate for over decades even though atomic energy has been considered as a viable energy source, which reduces the emanations of greenhouse gases, it's safety is still a significant concern on most people since its wastes and fuel are highly radioactive may be a threat to the health of those living in the eco-system. Some of the ethical issues that are of significant concern include comparison between the pros and cons of nuclear power [9], the adverse effect of accidents like the "Kyshtym accident "and "Chernobyl disaster"[10], and currently the "Fukushima disaster" associated with nuclear emissions, safety regulations and violations [9]We will also need to consider the impact of atomic energy on the inhabitants living in particular area where there are nuclear plants like mining and the dumping of harmful materials on densely populated areas which could be of harm to those living in those areas and full revelation on possible risks, quick information sharing can help rescue lives, lessen injuries and ease panics when a disaster occurs. A good example being the Fukushima disaster.
