Introduction

This particular exercise has quite some material to help one who is undergoing stress. The exercise was quite difficult and required research which helped to train my mind a little and also read accordingly. Stress levels are actually a matter to take into consideration and it would only do good if one learns about situations they may find themselves in that will lead to stress. The exercise was mind-boggling and I actually liked the versions of the hormones that the exercise demanded research.

I hoped to find out the manner in which stress levels are affected by hormones. The secretions of the hormones from different parts of the human system just shows the diversity of the effects they have on stress. Different hormones are from different areas while they all or somehow contribute to the stress levels. I also hoped to find out what happens when the hormones increase stress or increase them.

The results provided me with information and the understanding that I expected. However, there was a little bit of explanation that I would have liked to read but was not available. However, it is also important that I do my own research about the hormones and body reactions according to each one of them. I was also able to know the different ways I actually respond to stress in the sort-term, intermediate terms or prolonged times. This way, the results provided the correct insight about an individual and particularly myself in this case.

I felt that the exercises had something to teach and hence had to pay correct attention to it. Specifically, I got a great view of how stress occurs. I learnt that the physiological stress process usually starts the moment that the body realizes the presence of stressors, followed by signals sending to the brain and also to the specific hormonal and sympathetic response purposely for elimination, coping or reducing stress (Powell, & Enright, 2015). The moment a body senses of any particular stressor, signals relating to a stimulus are sent to the brain. It is important that people be aware of stress. The moment stress becomes chronic, an individual is seen to experience physiological, behavioral, and emotional changes in life that can put him/her at risk of developing mental disorders in future plus also physical illnesses.

Conclusion

In conclusion, there is a need for individuals to ensure that they are always free from stress and the activities that may result in stress. The scholarly references relating to fear I would like to manage include stressors that maybe at workplaces among individuals plus also stressors that may be caused the environment either the external environment or internal environment. The articles describe how to manage stress which is a particular topic that people need to know (Seaward, 2017). His can be connected to how the entire workbook comes along and the sources will add more knowledge and information to the already existing one.
