Qualitative research is an integral part of nursing as it helps the researcher carry out a more in-depth analysis of a statement problem. This paper analyses a qualitative research conducted and answers questions regarding the approach, interpretation, presentation and the implications of the practice
The strategy of the research is qualitative, as it is very descriptive. It is more non-numerical and discusses things and elements that cannot be quantified. It theorizes the human experience and perspectives and the understanding of the humanization of health care (eck & Watson, 2010). This approach fits the question because it is an article that widely reflects on the framework of qualitative research and ways it can be affected in the clinical field to satisfy the clients.
The research uses a purposive method of sampling in its study, whereby there is a pre-existing group created for the participants. The groups are already designed to suit the relevant research question, which is asked. There are no fixed sizes of samples that did not affect the objectives of the study.
This method is relevant because it is more comfortable as the data is determined based on a theory. It often arrives at the point where new data cannot bring a unique insight into the research question, making it the most effective method in the research. It considers the social theories a, beliefs, and the philosophical make-up of the society concerning health care both in the current world and the traditional one.
The data was collected by interviewing the patients who had experienced the Anthroposophic health care, which was initially rooted in Steiner and Wegman of Switzerland. The concern was a therapy that considered the wellbeing of the patient, both spiritually, mentally, and the ailing physical body. The patients were top to explain the difference between the other forms of health care and the one applied.
The data was collected for the research through analysis of other materials that had been printed earlier on the topic matter. The study utilizes a large number of publications that had been researched before by other pioneering scholars (Todres, Galvin, and Holloway, 2009). They provide a deep insight into the humanization of the health care.
The data is presented thematically to show the importance of the humanization of health care services. It incorporates the terms used in the research, the keywords, and the holistic ideas listed in previous analyses.
The data was arranged systematically to suit the needs of the current clinical practice and had several positive implications on the practice. It is informational and is useful in the career of nursing. The research is a resource for future reference, especially for analyses that ants to research further on the topic. It has several essential links to materials and documents used as references to enable scholars seeking clarification to make a follow-up.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the framework of qualitative research on the humanization of health care uses examples to illustrate the need for health care to move to its next phase. Through the sampling of previous works, it shows the inventions and the knowledge already existing in the field and how it can be utilized to ensure that the theory of humanization is achieved.
