The presumed significance and power of popular movies is revealed both by its persistent use in advertising. deregulation, digitization and an overall increase in media commercialism in the past few years have resulted in a television industry that is seeking out alternative options to ensure financial viability. The industrial processes involved in production of popular movies and the creative processes of movie culture are involved. The growing attraction to movie production is partly a reaction to changes within.
Although popular movies have always had commercial objectives, many actors have nonetheless vowed to commit to an anti-commercial ideology. Moreover, as movie companies become gradually more reliant on advertising as a means of revenue and exposure, the concern that certain types of movies will be favoured in production, distribution and consumption channels. Most audiences and spectators prefer comedy movies to other movies because; first, it is very hard to get bored while watching such movies because they are boring to both kids and grown ups. Secondly, such actors are neither ashamed nor proud of their decisions to license their movies to commercials. It is evident that movies with comedy pick a lot and go viral than other movies, for example, movies like Night School by Kevin Hart , Ride Along, Mysterious Island by The rock(Dwyne Jonson) have sold wide over a very short period of time because everyone in the world loved the content covered.
The themes developed through interviews and press analysis elucidate the modern reality of the practise, the industrial changes that have provided a foundation for increased sale of movies and the unresolved tensions surrounding media alliances that explicitly blur cultural ambitions with commercial objectives. Popular movies are now a vital and exiting area of scholarship according to the best research in the field.
Producers are concerned with locating movie practices, values, meanings in cultural context and draw upon methodologies and theories developed in cultural studies, semiotics, psychology and sociology. It is designed to embrace the world's popular movies whether high tech or low tech, commercial or non commercial, contemporary or traditional.
