Introduction
The health concept has acquired a new way, which reflects in health education. Its main objective is to control diseases and hence improve the quality of life. Health education must come up with a turn of mind to suppress several avoidable risks. This discussion will focus on different people and ways they can get an education on hand washing and infection prevention.
Family/ caregiver
The objectives achieved from educating families and caregivers on hand washing and infection prevention are, they get to practice fitness and exercise and eat better for they have proper nutrition and diet plans (Maxwel, 2016). They will also take caution on preventive measures given for better hygiene while washing hands. Education on families and caregivers can mainly be through technology. Technology assists with conveyance of the message for the family members who are often in their homes. They can also get educated through mobile devices such as tablets and I pads. For the aged, by watching television, they see adverts of hand care and infection prevention. For younger caregivers, they can watch films, adverts, and even through social media platforms. The use of media is environmentally friendly hence assist in achieving better results; therefore, it promotes better hygiene and healthcare practices in their homes.
Staff
Healthcare education is essential to staff members in providing services to patients in hospitals. The team demonstrates a better patient outcome, it increases their morale hence motivate them, and finally, it improves their skill in health care. Those are some of the objectives and consequences of the staff. There are also various strategies used in providing education. First, through technology, by the use of electronic gadgets, second, through seminars in hospital halls and organizing lecture classes and finally through simulation. Most activities act as a metaphor (Ohio, 2018). The learning environments should be friendly to the nurses. Education promotes improved health care and performance in hospitals.
Patients
Patient education assists them in becoming responsible for their health. Through the training, the patients come up with a management plan of their health; they have better methods of hygiene in handwashing and prevention and have a better understanding of their medical reports (Lippincott, 2017). The patients take precautions in prevention measures and ensure they follow the given instructions to reduce infections. Patients get educated through different strategies. Technology is one of the procedures through mobile devices; education can also be through organized seminars and talks in hospitals. The workshops held in hospitals halls or public halls assist in learning. Through the training given, patients take precautionary measures described, which improves their health.
Conclusion
Developing programs and ways of providing education to patients, families/ caregivers, and stays recommended. Through various strategies, the three have a clear understanding of health care. It will improve their health in the long run. The patients take precautions in prevention measures and ensure they follow the given instructions to reduce infections. They will also take caution on preventive measures presented for better hygiene while washing hands.
