The nursing objective of increasing technological skills and application will impact the documentation and tracking of population-based measures of health and well-being of the population (RN.com, n.d.). Through improved interpersonal skills, the nurses will enhance the public knowledge of preventative measures for risk factors such as sleep deprivation, sleep disorders, and the importance of dietetics and nutrition. Through research and development, nurses will be able to develop studies geared towards preventing, reducing, and eventually eliminating all associated healthcare infections.
Nurses will also play a critical in preventing illnesses through real and useful genomic tools and healthcare practices (CDC, 2019). The nurses will play in research, focusing on improving the evidence to support the use of genetic and family health history to guide clinical and public health intervention. Using technology, the nurses will also improve health and strengthen the United States' national security by working with other healthcare providers in global disease detection and response and developing preventative and control strategies (CDC, 2019). With the ever-rising pandemic such as SARS and COVID-19, the US population is at risk of being infected. Developing detection strategies and testing processes means that the nurses will prevent such spread and associated deaths.
Conclusion
In conclusion, nurses play a critical role in the healthcare system. Their primary objective is to provide excellent patient-centered care, which ensures that the patient experience and satisfaction are the number one priority. Other objectives, such as research and development and incorporation of technological skills, mean better detection, testing, and treatment of diseases across all ages and sectors.
