A chief nurse officer is delegated by the administration of the hospital to sustain clinical as well as patient-care ethics. This includes making sure that all patients are comfortable in the hospital, plus they can access proper medical care. For the nursing officer to do this, it is recommendable to work in association with hospital management as well as stakeholders to get the right infrastructure along with resources (Ford, 2019). This paper discusses the various challenges that, as a Chief nurse officer, I can see as well as various ways to resolve them. It also discusses ways of ensuring workers along with clients are safe, and ways of measuring quality assurance.
Some of the challenges include the technology uprising. There is a broad authority to consent new-fangled technology to take control of clinical rehearsal since the revolution is taking place very fast. Many changes are taking place in health care as a result, and nurse officers need to tolerate them. To solve this problem, the chief nurse officer should train the workers on the evolving technology skills in this field and accept changes. It is safe for them to understand the different capabilities of technology and think about how to use it to optimize current processes. Another challenge is the workforce, where sometimes various departments have a lot of work to do every day (Ford, 2019). Some lack of skills, and this may affect the progress of the care given to the patient. A way of solving this problem is ensuring the facility employs skilled nurses for improved care.
There are various steps for measuring quality assurance. They include establishing objectives for measuring, specify measures, stipulate data assortment along with storage measures, postulate analysis trials, gather measurement information, evaluate the data, hoard data as well as a result, and lastly, communicate results. These present ways that are used by chief nurses to measure quality assurance in healthcare.
There are various ways of ensuring worker and client safety. Some of them include building a hasty response system. To help organizations to plan the rapid response system, healthcare quality and research agencies have developed team strategies and tools that are useful in enhancing performance and safety for the patients. Another way is by ensuring workers are aware of and understand safety strategies (Ford, 2019). In organizational safety, both employees and employers are required to understand their roles.

In conclusion, there are several challenges in healthcare that are foreseen by the chief nurse officer. The organization should be keen on them and take control measures when it is still early to ensure quality care to the patients. It is also recommendable for the employees and clients to be safe in any organization for quality work.
