Welcome Leith is an American documentary that narrates a chilling takeover of a small town of twenty-four people in North Dakota by a White Supremacist Craig Cobb and his supporters. The documentary is classified as a thriller or a horror film, but what is more horrific is that the events in this film are not fiction. Craig Cobb, an American-Canadian, moves to the small town of Leith, and he buys twelve plots of land, and most of the residents assume he is just a new neighbor looking to settle down and profit from the states oil boom. However, his intentions to take over Leith and make it a haven for white Supremacists are revealed when he helps other white supremacists move it to the neighborhood.

For many years the Klu Klux Klan extremist group has terrorized, violently attacked, and killed non-whites through so many hate crimes. This hate-motivated movement seems to be the example by which other white supremacists are learning. Extremists like Craig Cobb thrive in small towns, and so they infiltrate with hidden agendas like hostile takeovers. Using tactics like intimidation Craig Cobb and his followers patrol the streets of the small city carrying guns and deadly weapons. White supremacists have contorted their minds into believing that they are the victims. As a result of this mentality of victimhood, they use force and aggressive tactics to exert their power. However, this does not change their feelings of being victims of the non-whites; as a result, they use force, violence, and initiate warfare wherever they go. Hate groups like the one Craig Cobb are targeting to form in Leith are holding America hostage from developing and becoming the diverse and an all-inclusive nation that it aims to be.

In the United States, there are dozens of Extremist groups, and they are all similar in their ideals and hate-filled agendas. Hate crimes from Extremist movements typically target people of color, people with different religious views and faiths, and those of different sexual orientations. Over the years, People like Craig Cobb have caused so much harm to innocent people just because they are different, and they lack tolerance for diversity. Mr. Cobb speaks with conviction and passion as he describes his Anti-Semitic, racist agenda, this part of the documentary enables the viewer to see how an extremist's mind has the power to convince itself that it is a victim of hatred.
