The primary photo above was taken during the industrialisation period (the 1880s) in Europe. There are three people probably a mother together with her young children. They are well seated down and busy concentrating on their works. There exists a lot of clothes around them probably the ones which have been mended. There is; a wheelchair, two stools and two chairs used during the process of mending clothes. From the photograph, there are three people, i.e. the mother and her young children. The one sited on the left-hand side putting on a white shirt with the black cap seems to be a boy. While one sitting on the furthest left-hand side, putting on a full black dress seems t,o be a lady. The mother is sitting on a high raised chair, dressed in a sweater and a big white like a skirt. Both the individuals have got a shining long black hair. They are busy with their work, and no one seems to be talking to the other. The activity which is going on in the photograph is of mending clothes since the individuals are busy handling clothes on their laps. The following are the objects in the photographs; there are two stools (one with a box like on the top and the other one is sited on by the young boy), two chairs sited on by the mother and daughter. There is also the presence of the wheelchair with the clothes on the top, a door probably leading to the bedroom with a white curtain at the entrance.

The three things I can infer about life at the time of the photograph include the following factors; first, there is a high demand for labour. It is mainly because the young children are much engaged in the work. From the picture, there is an indication that the individuals are so much engaged and no one has time to talk to the other. The number of the clothes on the chair and their laps is also a sign of high demand for labour. The second issue is the child labour since the two children are younger than they should be in school studying hard for the bitterness of their future. Both of the children neither looked happy nor satisfied with the look on their faces. Mostly it could be due to the cumbersome nature of the job itself. Lastly, people had started putting on decent clothes due to the kind of work which is going on and the types of the clothes the three individuals are putting on during the duty. They both have lovely hairstyles.

The following are some of the questions the above photograph raises; whether the children to go to school or not?. At the age of the two children, they both should be studying hard in school to gain better knowledge rather than heavily labouring on mending clothes. Since they are still underage, I expect them to be studying. The second question is why the workers are not speaking to one another or not happy in their faces?. It is because due to the presence of their mother at work I expect them to feel motivated and look joyous in their face which isn't the case in the photograph.

The answers to my questions might be found at school and proper motivation respectively. The children need to be taken to school since they are still underage with the kind of the job. Also, the children need to be adequately motivated to enjoy their work and not to look bored.

Conclusion

In summary, the above primary photograph was taken during the industrial revolution in the 1880s. The photograph represents three individuals who are labouring tirelessly to mend clothes. The presence of the two young children is an indication of the child slavery. The children aren't happy from the look on faces due to the amount of work they tackle. The mother seems to be I don't care since she is doing absolutely nothing to salvage the situation of her underage children. The children should be freed from such duties and be taken back to school. The photograph above illustrates two underage children together with their mother mending clothes during the industrial revolution.
