Introduction
The Dance at Bougival artwork is a painting that was produced in 1883 by Renoir who was at a point in his career where he was striving to shift from the rules concerning the impressionist artists. In the painting, he embraces more vibrant tones which brought the focus to the primary subjects of the composition which in this occurrence are two primary individuals. He painted the painting after returning from a trip that is believed to have changed his perception and style concerning artistry along with the presentation of the subject. It was completed along with other two arts making it a set of three adding a speck to them as "the dancing series." On one of the canvas, the couple is dancing in the city, the second in the suburb during the third in the village. The "Dance at Bougival" by Auguste Renoir represents the couple dancing in a suburb of Paris (Renoir).
Description of "Dance at Bougival" Art
Through the details of the painting by Auguste Renoir "Dance at Bougival," it composes of a canvas that depicts a young girl and a middle-aged man dancing (a couple) in each other's arms. Through the context of the painting, it entails different elements with its dimensions being (181.9*98.1 cm) with the oil on a canvas technique. The girl is dressed in a trendy close-fitting dress made out of a soft pink color which blends with the white skin and also a light blush in the man's cheeks. Moreover, the dressing emphasizes her beauty. On the head, the dancing girl is wearing a styling red hat that is decorated with flowers along with dark purple buds. There is also the existence of many ruffles skirt, shot in motion and even a cascading waterfall since the beneath is barely visible delivering on the focus of the painting (Dance at Bougival).
On the other hand, the partner dancing with the girl (a young man) is dressed in a different dark suit, and a straw hat that matches the dandy boots he is wearing. However, the cap covers the face of the young dancer, but the mustache and the beard are visible from below the head-dress. With a more description of the art, the position of the young man is in such a place that delivers the assumption that he might be whispering to the girl about something that has just happened. The girl is on the other had turned from her partner as she is gazing aiming to the side downwards delivering a sense of embarrassment but still has her hand around the man's neck which of course provides a different suggestion.
Additionally, the drawing still accumulates people sitting at the table in the background who seems less concerned with the couple along with other features such as the presence of green leaves on the branches of blurred trees. The whole scene is bathed in a sunlight exposure which creates an atmosphere of happiness and party. There is also the existence of a seemingly littered floor since particles of cigarettes can be seen among other litters such as a bouquet of flowers and matchsticks all over the ground (Dance at Bougival).

In the presentation of the artwork, different elements and tools are used in delivering the primary meaning and description of the picture. The art is an excellent reproduction of life as it captures the joys of people celebrating an event among other precariousness of life. In the elements, there is the extreme use of color, density, sensuous brushwork that heightens the resemblance of the dancing couple as it dominates the composition of the art. In consideration to the tonal dimensions of the artwork, it is pronounced through the use of a red bonnet of the dancing girl as it creates a focal point of view of the composition in the overall presentation of the painting. Moreover, the drawing assumes the use of tonalities which deliver precise definitions of the structure. The method of dense color ensures the delivery of life to the drawing along with the natural movement of the picture being in motion. The utilization of the blue and green tones provides the distribution of the meaning of the drawing by portraying the vegetation and sky which represent a complementary view together with pink used on the dress and the skin tone that matches other elements, for instance, the orange beard of the gentleman. The ground is also complemented by the man's suit which aligns with the yellow tones in the shoes and hat. Thus, the use of the different sounds and color deliver the effect as he majors on describing the events in the drawing. As the bright leaves are used, the technique provides a sense of liveliness through dancing movement and atmosphere of celebration.
Interpretation of Dance at Bougival Art
Similarly, the artwork can be interpreted through the perspective of the viewer in different ways. For instance, it assumes the delivery by using the specific elements. The piece of art is intended to deliver a feeling of joy and beauty to the world since the picture does not include any other contexts of information or implication such as political interventions. Although the drawing accommodates other characters and elements such as the people in the background, the environment, and the floor, it purely represents two central individuals as they dance. Following this style of art and representation of the composition, it is easier to deliver the claim that the picture is sorely meant to convey a happy atmosphere. Also, it provides a culture of interaction and exposure. For example, the litter on the floor implies that the individual within the gathering is smoking. On the other hand, the man is seen trying to whisper to the girl as she tries to look at something that seems to have fallen on the ground and one can assume that the man is trying to console her about something that has just happened (House 77).
Generalization and Comparisons
Although the drawing represents a chain of activities and socialism, it majorly focuses on the theme of individualism. Individualism is evident as it describes a social theory favoring freedom of action for people. There are many activities and elements in the image; however, the dancing couple is the central focus along which is evident through the use of color, tone, and other aspects of art. It is similar to the idea of impressionism. Despite the ability of the artwork to figure on actual characters, there is an active element of impressionism which in one way or the other adds to the entire composition of the art (The National Gallery). For example, the dancing couple is treated as the main characters in the painting which also implies that the gathering might concern them due to the principal focus on everything else.
Plan for The Future
In conclusion, the artwork provides specific definitions and knowledge relating to the different elements in its composition. With the knowledge is acquired, it entails the use of tone and color in delivering particular variation in providing specific definitions. The education is applicable in analyzing other pieces of art among with life involved situations. In the implementation of the experience, I intend to help the entire artistic setting by utilizing the acquired skills. On the other hand, my thoughts and perception concerning various drawing and specific elements of the picture have changed as a result of the experience. The Dance at Bougival art is among the most successful techniques that have managed to deliver the definite compositions and messages.
