My admission at this university is a dream come true and the first step to achieving my dreams. Many students relish such a chance, especially due to its location in the in one of the busiest cities in the world. My major will be Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. The university provides all the requisite resources for students to not only study but prepare for their careers also to turn into young men and women of integrity; my four visits to the institution attest to the resource endowment enjoyed by students. My desire and yearning to take up a career in clinical health date back to my tender years when I explored in nature and participated in local health and counseling drives. The hubris from my health and safety participation culminated in a burning desire to contribute to clinical care and prevention from diseases and care for the sick- as such, my decision to join the university to take up masters in clinical and mental health counseling.

My love for clinical and mental health counseling accompanied by my curiosity for theoretical concepts led me to choose Clinical and Mental Health Counseling as an undergraduate course. I am objective that pursuing this course at a masters level will bring fulfillment to my dreams. I have prepared for this masters course by undertaking a one-year internship at our local mental health facility.

In the course of my work experience, I have attained an intensive comprehension of mental health research as well as bringing new perspectives to address the challenges in this field. Dr. Green, the general practitioner for whom I volunteered in his facility, had often told me that the desire to become a mental health counselor must come from deep within. In his office, I evaluated the patients' crucial signs and helped them feel more comfortable. I also spent a considerable amount of time with Dr. Green learning about the mental health counselor's role. He became my mentor. I learned of the counselor's numerous responsibilities-individual integrity, an endless passion for learning and the awareness that throughout his or her career, every mental health counselor is a student and a teacher.

I also realized that in mental health, numerous decisions are based on clinical estimation, as opposed to the precision of the laboratory. During my internship program, I ensured that I used my skills to benefit the patients without creating further distress in their life. My objective was to keep my clients informed and involved in their therapy. In the mental health facility, I worked with people of all ages-therefore I am prepared to undertake a master's program.

Many reasons set me apart from other applicants, but one of the greatest differences is my experience in this Major. I believe that I appreciate this university more than the other applicants. Like many things in life you do not appreciate the full value you of something until it is gone or it has been taken from you. This is how I feel toward my home state, and I know the competition and the expense that comes with living in this State. I have a disciplined work ethic, and the University's competition will drive me to work harder than all my peers. From being alone and away from my support system, I know the ambition and mindset an individual must poses to succeed and overcome difficulties. These attributes that I possess have made me be an overcomer and a conqueror.

I believe in this university because it boasts of experienced lecturers and adequate resources; which further justifies my decision to apply at the institution. I believe that the lecturers' competence and proven track record in preparing students for their career and adult life are critical in my path to realizing my dreams. The university also offers field research studies that help students in acquiring first-hand data collection and analysis skills important for any career field work. Studying at this university and utilizing the array of resources, such as well-equipped computer labs and a state-of-the-art library, will set me on a path to leading the pack in championing for mental health counseling and clinical practice. Apart from the courses offered in this institution, the diversity in culture, race, ethnicity, religion, and nationalities also draw me to the campus. The university accommodates students from all over the world, which accords its students a rare chance to share with people from different backgrounds.

Conclusion

This university is the best choice for me because of its integration of education and research. I seek to journey into mental health counseling in health care management backed by data. The university will surely help advance my ambitions owing to the school's hands-on approach to education. I deserve a spot in this university since the institution is not only my dream school, but it will also help me advance my cause in this age of increasing mental health issues especially among young people.
