Introduction
Healthcare is among the most significant aspect of human life. Achieving better health implies that individuals will have a pleasant experience that is free from illness. The governments invest in health to ensure that every citizen can access better health as one of their rights. Therefore, health standards matter a lot because of several reasons. This is because quality is what determines whether individuals can attain the best Healthcare in society. School children are among the vulnerable people in the community that is often exposed to several health dangers. This is because of the interactions that they encounter both in school and home areas. Vaccination refers to a particular form of medication that is meant to prevent certain illnesses that may be anticipated to arise in the future. Administering a vaccine to children is intended to guarantee their safety in the future. Vaccination is essential and should be allowed on children because they are safe, prevent illness, are conducted through awareness, helps in achieving better Healthcare, and prevents disease, as discussed in the paper.
The Vaccine is Safe
One of the reasons why the public should allow their children to be vaccinated; it's because this is one of the safe methods being used to administer proper health. The vaccination on children has undergone thorough research by scientists to establish its need and, thus, will serve its purpose once it is allowed (Damm 475). Also, several samples on the children's immune system have been undertaken to the lab and tasted. This is an assurance that the vaccine is safer because it has been meant for children. Besides, several health organizations are put in place to certify the vaccination. For example, for children to receive these vaccinations, the World Health Organization (WHO) has to ascertain that there is a need for vaccination.
Besides, several vaccinations have been conducted before that have emerged to be safer among children. For example, the polio vaccination that is still administered up to today plays a significant role in ensuring that the children born do not get disabled in the future. Therefore, the need for vaccination among children cannot be undermined because it is safe and secure. Also, achieving a healthy society begins through the vaccination of children when they are still at a younger age (Damm 478). In brief, individuals need to allow the vaccination to take place because it has undergone thorough research and is certified by reputable bodies. Also, there is not anticipated harm that is likely to arise on the children once the vaccine has been undertaken.
Meant to Prevent Illness
Children are often vaccinated for purposes of prevention of illnesses. In most cases, the young and the old age are exposed to more health dangers because they are still developing and aging, respectively. Therefore, the vaccine is intended to prevent children from getting ill and being affected by diseases. Accepting the vaccine is one way of improving the health status of children in society. Also, administering the vaccine on one child implies that there will be the prevention of spread in case an illness is contagious or transferred through interactions.
Education and Awareness of Children
This is one of the essential processes that are often ignored when undertaking a particular vaccine on a group of children or people. This entails the creation of awareness based on the vaccine being conducted. In this case, the vaccine will entail first informing the children of the day ahead (Mohn 4). Teachers, with the help of medical doctors, will educate the children on the importance of the vaccine by pointing out some of the benefits that they will gain. In this way, children will be prepared psychologically, and the possibility of some rejecting the vaccine will be minimal.
Besides, teachers are authoritative and thus, will be of importance as the children will take orders from them without any form of hesitation. Moreover, this will help them being through stress after the vaccination because the queries will be cleared. This will be an open forum where the children will be asked to ask any questions which will be answered by the medical practitioners. Therefore, with education and awareness on the vaccination, children should be obligated to take the vaccination.
No Side Effects
In some cases, side effects may arise when a particular vaccine is conducted on the body of a person. This refers to some of the negative things that children are likely to experience after the period of the vaccine. Some of the side effects are usually as a result of the different immune systems of the children. As mentioned above, the vaccine has undergone thorough research and various tests hence making it suitable for the children. Therefore, children should be undertaken through the vaccine because there are no likely effects that will rise (Mohn 7). Besides, the vaccine can be done in bits to ensure that there are no chances taken on them. For example, choosing a small sample that will undergo the vaccination will be a good idea before the whole group is given the vaccine.
However, this might sound bad, considering that the chosen small number might seem sacrificial, but it is one way to ensure that assurance is created. Children will be able to undertake the vaccine and continue with their studies comfortable with some even not feeling the changes. This is one of the aspects of the vaccine because education will not be disrupted, with some having to stay at home because of not feeling well. Also, the vaccination can be conducted even in a school with the help of medical practitioners. Therefore, this is a simple vaccine that will be undertaken on a single day on the students.
It Is the Goal of the Government to Ensure Better Healthcare Is Attained
This is a government initiative and needs to be respected by the people. The Government must ensure that children are protected from any harm. Also, the Government has the skills and resources to conduct research in the country and identify some of the dangers that children are exposed to. It is through this that they can administer specific health measures and recommendations (Russo 21). Therefore, this vaccine has been recommended by the Government and should be allowed to ensure that the safety of the children is guaranteed. In brief, this process is among the healthcare goals that the Government is fostering to ensure that society is safe from any form of illness.
Children are More Vulnerable
Finally, children are among the most people that are at higher risk of being affected by illness. Therefore, vaccination is a means of keeping them away from any anticipated dangers. Also, administering the immunization will be cheaper than offering treatment once many of them get affected (Russo 33). For example, if the protection is not conducted and chances happen that a particular illness erupts, then the damage is likely to be large compared to when a vaccine is done earlier. Therefore, since children are more vulnerable, the vaccine is needed to avoid the significant loss that might arise.
Conclusion
To sum up, the above easy explains some of the reasons as to why the vaccine needs to be conducted on children. The research established that the vaccine is safe as it has undergone examination and various tests. Therefore, there are no side effects that are likely to be on children if the vaccine is done. This is guaranteed by reputable bodies that have participated in the study to ascertain the safety process. Also, the paper asserts that conducting the vaccine will be cheaper than waiting for a pandemic to affect the children to offer them treatment. This will be more costly as parents will have to spend more to see their children in their normal status. Besides, the aspect that the vaccination is free from the Government should encourage more children to participate. The main goal of the vaccine is to prevent illness and thus offer children a chance to enjoy better Healthcare. Also, there will be a creation of awareness before they take the vaccine, which is one of the best reasons for them embracing it. In brief, the vaccine is safe and should be offered with a warm welcome.
