Argumentative Essay Against Abortion

Today's society is divided on abortion. People who agree or disagree with the taking of an innocent life are both affected. There are other options than abortions, even though women have legal rights to make decisions about their bodies and decide whether or not to terminate a child's life. Every life is precious and babies should have a chance to live a happy, fulfilling future. It should be illegal to have an abortion. It could make abortion legal and allow children to have a happy life with someone they love and care for. Mothers have the option of adopting their unwanted children, although they will need to go through the entire pregnancy. The child is then given to someone who will unconditionally love them. Many mothers choose to adopt their children because they are unable to support themselves financially, have difficulty with school or work, or simply because they don't feel like it is worth the risk.

Adoption gives children the opportunity to realize their childhood dreams. Because abortion is murder, it should be made illegal. The United States government considers unborn babies human beings.

According to the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, an embryo or fetus is considered a legal victim. This means that if you have an abortion, it is considered murder. People who attempt to kill or kill unborn babies should be prosecuted. Another reason I oppose abortion is my faith, which says "Thou shalt not Kill" (Exodus 20, 13). Abortion should not be legalized as it is illegal and every child should have the opportunity to live a happy and healthy life. The unborn baby has the right to life and the mother shouldn't be allowed to terminate a pregnancy. If abortion continues, many couples who are unable to conceive won't be able adopt a child they will love forever.
