It is a truly humbling experience to finally be at a point in my life where I will be able to pursue my dream and the career I have always admired. It is with this in mind that I write you this letter in application for a position at your fine institution where I may pursue studies in Nursing. Thus, I thank you for taking the time to go through this application and hope at the end that I will be one of the select few to pursue my future with you.
I wish to take the time to inform you of the high regard and esteem that I hold your institution. I have known about Walla Walla University and its brilliance for quite the significant while even before it was ranked 47th in the top 100 regional Universities in the Western US. This institution, to quote my family, "is a place where religion and studies work hand in hand to create the best out of each student and secure their future." Of course, this is also backed up by the dictated median starting salary of your alumni which US News states to be roughly $52,000 and the 5-1 student to faculty ratio which guarantees ease of the learning process and practical learning and all this at a very fair tuition fee. This institution is a top pick for anyone who wishes to prepare and secure their future, and I wish to have you guide me in preparing for mine.
Firstly, I have always admired the medical profession, and this is why I wish to pursue a career in nursing. This is for the paramount reason that there is never and never will be enough medical practitioners to be able to handle every health issue. Thus, in studying nursing, I would be joining this noble workforce and aid to some degree in the saving of lives and maintenance of health. Also, the nursing profession offers me a vast range of options and skills which can be applied to any individual aspect of nursing. This may range from palliative care to child healthcare. It is an exciting profession which offers a lot of interaction, a lot of opportunities and a lot of skills which all apply and add up to serving the people by maintaining their health.
As for myself, I tend to believe I would be a great addition to your student body and will become a great student and a great alumnus to only give more value and credibility to the school's record such as one, Forrest Preston. I believe that I possess a series of qualities that may bring out this nature in me the first one being keen attention to detail and critical thinking ability, which of course allowed me to discern your school as the best choice for me. In addition to that, I have exemplary communication skills and have confidence which serves to show my ability to gain influence both in your institution and upon beginning my career.
I can also adapt to any environment and circumstance which will allow me to survive and thrive within the institution and out there in the nursing career. I also work well in any situation and can work even under a significant amount of pressure and deliver sound results even in such conditions. I believe this will allow me to handle the workload as a student and as a practitioner with ease and thus be able to learn and work with high efficiency. I sincerely hope you consider me and I look forward to joining your institution and working with you to shape my future.
Sincerely,
"NAME"
