Introduction
There are questions on whether the parents should assist the state in combating learner's truancy in learning institutions since they can closely observe and take counteractive procedures against such deeds. The government is performing a suitable responsibility in trying to alleviate student truancy. There is need to challenge the government to increase its support in improving the problem of student truancy. The essay concerns the GA society where student truancy is a major problem. The primary causes are chronic illness and social issues which result from family matters such as bullying, the need to nurse sick patients and relocation (Kerr, 2015). There are a number of publications which are relevant to the role of the government in alleviating truancy.

With assistance from Attendance Works and local philanthropy, there were cases of the reduction of incidences of frequent absence, particularly among younger students. The state implemented Every Student Act and the obligation to report frequent truancy and creating more awareness on the matter.

The book summarizes the prevalence of truancy in learning institutions and juvenile courts and what the state can do to improve the situation.

The book suggests that absentees are lost and disturbed minors experiencing mental problems. The biographers agree that the majority of renowned sociological and environmentally friendly factors endorse truancy and confront more distressing matters which include curriculum and pedagogy. The issue is prevalent and continues categorizing it as the comportment of societal and educational nonconformists.
