The government is performing a suitable responsibility in trying to alleviate student truancy. There is need to challenge the government to increase its support in improving the problem of student truancy. The essay concerns the GA society where student truancy is a major problem. The primary causes are chronic illness and social issues which result from family matters such as bullying, the need to nurse sick patients and relocation (Kerr, 2015). There are a number of publications which are relevant to the role of the government in alleviating truancy.
