The primary objective of applying for this program is to challenge myself in facing new experiences to enhance personal, educational, and professional development in the provision of quality healthcare. I believe that in the future, NP will be in high demand as its scopes continue to grow to face the challenges of our healthcare system. My experience as a Registered Nurse is mostly in the intensive care unit, which gives me the advantage to attend to different types of healthcare needs ranging from young patients to the elderly. My expertise in handling patients enables me to perform different tasks without experiencing any challenges. I work closely on a day-to-day basis with highly trained and knowledgeable doctors. I have also learned a lot concerning patient care by embracing teamwork throughout my career. Skills in providing health awareness, promotion, infection prevention, and provision of evidence-based practice also give me the advantage to fit in different healthcare departments, thus ensuring success in my Master's program.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009. However, I have faced several challenges, especially when it comes to balancing my education with work commitments. I also had the extra responsibility of as a young single mother which proved to be quite challenging in advancing my career. Presently, I can manage my family responsibilities more efficiently and balance work with education. I am, therefore, in a better place to pursue my Master's program more conveniently. By working with different teams at diverse levels, I have learned the aspect of teamwork and leadership that is key to the provision of excellent healthcare and in establishing work relationships with healthcare providers. On completion of my Master's program, I hope to carry on the leadership and teamwork principles in providing reassuring care to patients as a nursing practitioner.I believe that applying for a master's program in your institution is the right choice for me as it has the best environment and resources to help me develop positivity and express my personality to become a certified nursing practitioner. Primary health care is a strong component to help face the healthcare challenges mentioned above. It is the way of the future and will help decrease health care costs and create a healthier population.
