Introduction

Decision making is a daily activity of all human processes, and each one has to formulate a formula for making the right choices for his/her work that will enhance him achieve goals and objectives of his activities. Every plan of action requires a well informed and prepared schedule of attaining a favorable result of the operation. In business organizations and corporations, decision making is part of the corporate strategy (Guertin et al., 2019). Each organization needs to plan and execute a strategy of attaining its objectives in the market and leadership. Businesses have to make decisions on a strategy of corporate management, corporate social responsibility, organizational leadership, and corporate leadership, marketing, and regulatory decisions that will steer the company to the next level of their development agendas. Decision making is arranged and executed by the top management in an organization where they convene a meeting discussing the matters at hand and what they inspire to achieve or change in the current setting of the organization. The decision-making process is a laborious process and sometimes requires making conflicting decisions with other parties, especially when it is part of regulations for change (Guertin et al., 2019). In the corporate decision-making process, we chose one course of action that we consider best for the organization out of several alternatives. The process may involve tools, perspectives, and techniques like majority interest or organizational culture. The going to explore the decision to make ethical and regulatory issues in APPLE Inc and evaluate their impact on the organization.

Decisions to Make on Potential Ethical Consideration and Regulatory Process in the Organization

Business ethics deals with values, norms, and beliefs found in the business. Ethics have an impact while offering our services to the customers and the society to guide and provide a mutual advantage to the organization and the customers. Here we value the ethics in economics balancing with our motives of making a profit in the organization. A decision on business ethics is both normative and descriptive, offering an approach to conduct recommending certain business behaviors, as well as constructing directive measures for management attitudes and behaviors. Ethical decisions are also based on organization relationships between stakeholders in the organization and guiding them in making a conducive environment for working for each other for a productive business organization (Guertin et al., 2019). Here are the decisions to make in APPLE Inc.

The first decision will be made on marketing and broadcasting conduct. As an organization, we have to consider the behavior of our organization in line with the industry regulations and codes of operation. The industry has outlined specific guidelines to be followed when advertising our products and when doing promotion to our customers. Among the decision to make is to stop discrediting the products of our competitors. Our marketing and broadcasting techniques will be solely based on marketing our products and not discrediting the products of the competitors. The other decision is operating in line with industry and government regulations on the advertisement and other marketing processes.

The other decision is based on the hiring and management of employees. I have outlined rightful regulations banning discrimination while hiring workers and also when promoting our products. The decision is effective in all levels of management, and they have to act accordingly to avoid conflicting issues. Further regulation is resolved that any top official caught on conflicting and absconding the above regulation is subject to losing their employment with effective action, and relevant legal, due process will be initiated against them.

There is a decision and a regulation banning any physical and verbal harassment in APPLE Inc Company. Any action of harassment is considered organizational misconduct, and the affected bodies will be equally punished. The parties found of abusing or in any way harassing their co-workers will be subjected to relevant disciplinary action that may lead and not limited to termination of their contracts with the organization.

The other decision is to enhance safe working conditions for all employees in APPLE Inc. The efforts of improving safe working conditions will involve eliminating technologies that may jeopardize the health and well-being of the workers. The process will see managers in different departments conducting checkups in their departments and report about how their efforts to make sure that all employees are working in a safe condition.

Another decision involves the production of goods. Every organization requires to produce goods that are considerate of the consumers, and this requires the quality and health of the customers. The decision for quality checking before releasing our products to the market has been resolved, and a report will be released, showing all the contents of the product before getting to the market. The company will also issue a manual directing on the use of the product and informing the consumer of possible side effects of the product. The manual will also contain quotients of different elements in the product and their importance to them illustrating their usage.

Process of Making These Decisions

The first procedure is identifying the purpose of the decision. Here will look upon establishing the reason as to why we need the decision and why it is essential to APPLE Inc. This procedure is essential in understanding, where, as an organization need to initiate the right decision to better our organization.

The second step is that we will gather information about the decisions we are about to make. Gathering information will involve different stakeholders and consumers as it affects them directly. The information we are gathering here is about their views about the decisions, and they consider them relevant in helping the delivery of service by the organization.

The next step is brainstorming and analyzing the choices (Guertin et al., 2019). We already gathered information from relevant stakeholders, here we list them down while considering our initial decision. The priorities have to consider organizational culture and the objective of the organization. The goal of APPLE Inc is making profits, which has to be the utmost consideration, then we build the choices in an account of our goals and objectives.

Evaluating alternatives that we have come up with (Al Janabi, 2020). We already constructed several choices to make. In this step, we analyze each option according to the benefit it is going to bring to the organization and the stakeholders involved. Analyzing will also involve checking on the organizational culture with the alternatives.

The last step is selecting the best alternative and implementing it. The best alternative is the one that balances the organizational culture and goals with the effects the decision brings to the stakeholders involved (Guertin et al., 2019). The decision that benefits both APPLE Inc. and the stakeholders will be considered over other decisions. Then we will implement the best alternative for the best interest of the organization and our value of conducting business.

The Effect of the Decision on the Organizational Culture

The corporate culture of the organization, such as community involvement, corporate citizenship, and business environment, will be affected in several ways by the decision we are going to implement.

The decision made at this level is enhancing and rebuilding our relationship with our community. The decision will help APPLE Inc offer more considerate services to the community that will enable the community to value our organization. The community will be provided with quality services and products they deserve hence improving their social status and maintain their well-being. The clean and conducive environment will positively impact the community that the decisions outlined herein will help the organization achieve and establish safe garbage collection and controlled emission to the atmosphere. Ensuring fair and non-discriminatory processes in hiring employees will ensure qualified and rightful candidates form the community is incorporated in the organization hence reducing the issue of the unemployment in the organization. The decision to ensure workers' promotion and their well-being in the organization is a decision that will improve community involvement in the organization by achieving corporate social responsibility in the organization, balancing the needs of the community, and making them better.

Effects of Decisions on Stakeholders

The decisions are made for the betterment of the organization, to maximize the production of the organization, to enable the organization to achieve its corporate social responsibility, and allow the organization to increase its profit. The stakeholders of APPLE Inc are part of realizing organizational goals. The decisions formulated here will not alienate any stakeholder but will force them to do the right thing for the organization (Garcia et al., 2016). The departmental managers will be forced to be vigilant and responsible in their departments in ensuring quality production at the same time enhancing employees' well-being. Stakeholders found in violation of the decisions and regulations made will face the disciplinary action of the organization. Stakeholder's relationships will be enhanced by the formulated decisions enhancing smooth coordination in their operations.

Impact of the Ethical and Regulatory Decisions on the Community

According to the United Nations, the best corporate social responsibility goals are the one that prioritizes the community. Ethical and regulatory decisions have to prioritize on improving labor policies in the organization, participating in fair-trade and conducive partnership, volunteering in the community, enacting policies that enhance the clean environment and free from toxic emissions among other policies and decisions that benefit the surrounding community (Lock and Seele, 2016).

The ethical and regulatory decisions discussed in this paper will impact the community positively in the following ways. First, ethical decisions are concentrated on improving employee working conditions. Employees of any organization come from the surrounding environment/community, improving their working condition it means we are improving the priorities of the community hence enabling the organization to achieve its corporate social responsibility.

The regulatory decisions also focus on enabling a clean environment, and APPLE Inc will engage in several measures that are prioritized in making the environment clean and maintain the health of the community (Kim et al., 2017). The ethical decisions will enable APPLE Inc to initiate relevant procedures and activities of cleaning the environment.

One of the ethical decisions discussed is the consideration of the marketing and broadcasting policies of the organization. The ethical concern is purposed to achieve the fair-trade CSR in the industry. APPLE Inc will put rightful measures of controlling its marketing methods and policies that do allow for fair-trade requirements. The advertisement for the products will be based on the quality of the product and not founded on diminishing the product of the competitors.
