A Busy Day at the University Paper Example

During this day, a lot had been scheduled to take place within the University premise, and in one way or another, I had to attend all the events if possible. In the morning there would be a meeting with the basketball team as we were to deliberate on how to bolster our training. In the mid-morning, there would be a meeting with the innovation club as we were to discuss on how to source funds to design and fabricate various projects which the members of the club had, finally a meeting to deliberate on the security status within our institution.

Due to the intensity of the day's program, I woke up at 6:00 am earlier than my usual time since I was to prepare intensively on how to manage my time and ensure that I attend to all meetings. I prepared short notes on what was to present in all the meetings and do some research on where we could potentially source the funds to run the projects within the innovation club. After completion of my research, I went into the bathroom and took a shower, ten minutes later I was in the coffee table taking breakfast with my siblings who were also getting ready to go to school.

After my breakfast, I rushed to the car park and drove off to school. I arrived at school at 9:30 am found half of the basketball team members were already in the room where we had agreed to conduct the meeting. Since only half of the members had arrived, it decided we spent 30 more minutes waiting for them before we commence the meeting. As we were waiting, we cracked jokes to pass the time. In less than 30 minutes, all members were already in and started the meeting. Every member of the club was given a chance to his view on how we should bolster our training, and at the end of the meeting which lasted for one and half hours, it was agreed that we increase our training session time from two hours to three hours on weekends. It was agreed that the institution provides more training kits to the players as the existing ones' were not sufficient, and they are obsolete.

After the basketball players meeting which ended at 11:00 am, I went straight to the next room where the innovation club members had already gathered awaiting the meeting to start. I am the chairman of the club; hence my presence was crucial the start of the meeting. The meeting kicked off at 11:20 am, and it was projected to last for two hours. I presented my findings on who are the potential people and organizations to fund the projects. Everybody agreed with my proposal apart from two members who were against the idea of asking prominent personnel to fund our projects. They were concerned that with the exposure of the projects to people who have funds, they could easily double cross us take our projects. But to counter this, another member suggested that we first seek patent rights of the project to avoid such scenarios taking place. At the end of one and a half hours, we had exhausted everything which was to be discussed, and the meeting ended.

Indeed, my day had a tight schedule; after meeting, I went straight to the restaurant around the school and took lunch. After that, I had a siesta for 30 minutes in the school garden. At this time, the weather conditions took a sharp change, and it started raining. In the afternoon we had scheduled to have the meeting to deliberate on the security matters within the school. The meeting was to be held between student's representative which I was one of them, security personnel of the institution, and school administration management. The rain disrupted everything, and some of the key stakeholders in security did not manage to come, and the meeting was scheduled to take place after one week. Postponing the meeting came as great news to me since I was exhausted and needed enough rest. After two hours, the rain subsided, and I drove home at 5:00 pm. The day had been a tiresome one, and when I arrived at home, I took a warm shower and went to my bed where played games with my phone to relax my mind as I wait for the time to take dinner and sleep.
