Introduction
The health care sector is broad, and it comprises people of all professions. It includes taking care of all stages of health service in both effectiveness and overall performance. It also involves making short and long term decisions that reflect on the health care systems as well as business strategies (Buchbinder et al., 2019). Its global aim is to ensure the coordinated delivery of health care and the efficient management of medical facilities. The people taking this course stand a great demand globally to improve health care and professionalism. The main aim of the course is to train the learners in various fields, some of which include data collection, cost accounting, human resource management, strategic planning, among others.
The most surprising thing on this course is on how fast this course is growing. The course gives learners opportunities to learn and grow in the same field. Of great importance is that this course creates an environment in which the health care providers practise effectively and efficiently. Another thing is that it creates a good environment for people to receive services in the health care sector.
The most interesting thing that I liked from this course is to learn that from the latest survey, health care administration is among the professions that provide excellent compensation packages that include other benefits (Lundberg et al., 2017). It creates more opportunities for learners to learn due to its high demand. The things that I didn't like about the course are that it's a broad course that is normally faced with many financial constraints, especially in the professional sector. The economic challenge in the health care industry is another thing that did not interest me on the course; thus needs to be addressed.
My candid advice to the students that would wish to take this course in the coming semester is that they should embrace the course as it bears more opportunities due to its global demand, thus an assurance of job opportunities after they are done with the course. This course also provides one with thorough knowledge of the key areas of health care management and hospital administration as well as the global overview of the health care scenarios (Livorsi et al., 2016). Another advantage is that the course equips an individual with management and organizational skills to the expected level of professionalism in the health sector.
