Gaming addiction has numerous adverse impacts on school going youth in Thailand. The conclusion was arrived at after conduction a cross-sectional study where 295 students in grade 4-5 were sampled. A majority of the students played online games and represented 62.7% of the sampled students. On average, students spend 4.73 days per week playing games. The results highlighted the rate of addiction to gaming among students.

The porn industry exploits people of color by demeaning them as an inferior race and that can have an impact on teens as they grow up in our society where equality is vital. Moreover, the author highlights on the issue of fetishes where the female gender may be discriminated against by the male gender thus setting a bad example to the teens. Additional research is required in the study to deeply understand how pornography affects the teens in their development process.

The conclusion was arrived at after a survey was conducted on 507 faculty members and 2605 students of distinct ages and genders. The study supports that familiarization with social media reduces the risk of negative impacts on students. If used well, social media has more advantages than disadvantages to its users according to the study. However, some of the negative impacts of social media included social introversion, physical inactivity, and exposure to bullying.

Gambling is addictive among some citizens in the United States. According to the author, the NCPG (National Council on Problem Gambling) has addressed the issue of responsible gaming solving some issues such as gambling problems in the United States. Problem gaming is an issue that requires addressing in the US and victims are left with no hope as insurance companies do not cover the problem hence creating a barrier for individuals seeking private care. Standards ought to be in place to man the gambling industry to ensure responsibility and clear minimum age to gamble.
