Water is life, and we all need water for the well-functioning of our bodies. The body of a human being consists 60% of water, therefore without water, you cannot survive since water helps one from dehydrating hence maintaining the skin to be soft and smooth. The health requirements on water consumption recommend eight-ounce of glasses per day which is approximated to 2 litres. However, the amount of water one takes in a day is very difficult to determine, even me myself I cannot account the amount of water I consume in a day as some days I may drink more than other days.
However, water consumption for human beings sometimes tends to rely on the weather and the surrounding temperatures. For myself, I rarely take water during the cold season, and if I decide, I only take very little like one glass, since my perception towards water is about coldness and therefore I fear not only coldness but also most of the times when the weather is very chilly I rarely feel thirsty. Sometimes one feels even not to have a birth with a cold shower due to the weather conditions around, hence through this perception of phobia, I may end up using or consuming very little water.
Hot seasons and sunny weather when temperatures are very high during the day, I usually use and drink a lot of water during this weather just because I sweat a lot and one feels so thirsty, and hence you have to quest your thirsty with water. Water cools our bodies, and as we drink it, it creates water balance with the body thus maintaining the amount of water lost through sweat and urine. Therefore, one requires an adequate amount of water from getting dehydrated. Hence our bodies are made in a system that when the water level drops below the required amount, the body responds by thirsty therefore regulating the amount of water needed by our bodies for the better.
Furthermore, water consumption is dependent on the task one does in a particular day. For instance, if I happen to work in road construction or field of plantations weeding for almost six hours a day, I might consume more water in that day than a person just working in the office mainly because of the energy needed to do that particular task. Hence sweating may occur and you will be likely to feel thirsty as you could have lost a lot of water through sweat and urine at work. Even when it comes to showering, you will use a lot of water since you will be dirty and will stay in water for so long to cool and relax your body in the pool? Hence the fluid loss of around 1 % may result in weakness as water provides us with energy that is required for the well-functioning of our bodies.
There is also another reason why I like drinking much water each day. First of all, water reduces much weight in the body since it tends to lower the number of calories food we usually like to consume and water is essential in lowering health problem issues such as kidney stones and constipation. Other than using water for drinking and bathing, I also use water in cleaning the utensils, washing clothes and all the domestic stuff. However, it is challenging to account or the amount of water used for a particular day. The most abundant use of water at home is through flushing toilets and bathing, but many people believe each person uses 80 gallons of water per day in the world. Therefore, there is a need to conserve water since water is life.
