Even though there is a call for equitable opportunities in education, good schools are still failing the students of color. The reason why most students of color fail to be carried through the same opportunities is the fact that there is an innate hatred that is enmeshed in teachers, students and most of the stakeholders in the educational institutions (Carter 76). For that matter, segregation affects the students of color thus affecting their performance after lowering their confidence and self-esteem.

It has been found out that parents' request for the need of adopting the aspect of equality of education to be subjective matter might increase radical self-interest that might end up undermining the common good.
