Introduction

Precisely, this paper explains the changes occurring in the academic and leadership sectors. Change may be defined as the transition from original identity to a different status. Change is associated with the growth or development of organizations. Most of the schools are making development changes in their education system to have more significant achievements in the future community. In order to enforce these changes in schools, students should be innovative. Innovation should not only rely on technology but also classwork activities. These changes have become more diverse; for example, in the United States, school communities dominated the urban, suburban, and rural areas. One of the universities in the United States has partnered with professional development schools to establish a doctoral program in education. The goal of this partnership was to implement leadership initiatives programs in district schools. The doctorate program was established through the collaboration of Monmouth University. The partnership had an initiative of increasing the learning of students. The major responsibilities of this partnership were; ensuring teachers preparation, administrative training, and increasing student learning

The partnership program developed the role of transformative leadership project (TLP). The doctorate students were required to accomplish the transformative leadership project within the district school. During this project, students are required to engage with real-world experience in terms of making a decision. The TLP project requires students to identify challenges or problems around the district through the research programs. When a problem is detected, the students collect data to determine the effectiveness of the matter, which later on forms the foundation of a student's dissertation research. The method used in this TLP project by the doctorate student is design thinking. It involves developing new ideas and designing projects based on data analysis. The programs are formed to meet the needs of students and educators. The dissertation project requires the student to be very creative.

Creativity is about changing something from its original existence to creating something new. The transition change inspires many people to become creative thinkers. There is a great difference between thinking and acting creatively. Creative thinking involves imagining answers in order to answer the question and test intellectually. Creative acting involves realizing and imagining for answers in real life. Therefore, creative thinking requires people to exercise their knowledge of imagination. Leaders are perceived as the most significant creative thinkers either in a natural way or due to hard work. Leaders instigate changes in an organization or a school set up. The student should be provided with opportunities for developing their own creative ideas. Creative thinking is an essential element for students because it motivates them to become potential leaders.

The common themes in both articles are; themes of leadership and education. The theme of leadership is portrayed in the following ways. The partnership program between Monmouth University offers professional development for leaders. For example, it provides the creation of various academies position for school administrators such as principals' academy, superintendents academy and special service academy (Bragen, Henning & Furda, n.d). The creation of these academies posts establishes safe and supportive dialogues between the school administrators and the Monmouth University partners. The department of education at Monmouth University was the head of the county's Superintendents for almost ten years.

The department developed a strong leadership relation with P-12 district schools. These developments caused the establishment of the Doctor of Educational Leadership Program. The main goal for the establishment was to have skilled leaders who are good problem solvers and decision-makers (Bragen et al, n.d). The best leaders are great creative thinkers either by nature or through hard work. Leaders face a lot of challenges when giving a solution to a particular answer, and they have to determine the best solution. Creative leaders believe that the best answers may also come from other people. Good leaders are creative thinkers, while creative leaders inspire and depend on other people ability to think.

The theme of education is portrayed in several instances in the article of leading school changes through an Ed. D Program and Fostering Creativity for Leadership. The university of Monmouth collaborated with the professional development school (PDS) to establish a doctorate program in leadership education. The goal for this program was to provide professional initiatives for increasing P-12 educational learning (Bragen et al, n.d). The partnership facilitates the implementation of new initiatives that promote student learning. The following were the initiatives; implementation of co-teaching staff and assessment of teachers. The creation of a doctoral program that was to meet the obligation of educators to ensure the accreditations of 54 courses (Bragen et al, n.d). The student learns about analytical thinking skills through dissertation and coursework through the doctoral program partnership. These programs enhance their reading skills of students and decision making.

Students must be provided with creative thoughts. It can be done by providing them with tools that can help them think critically (Harding, 2010). Teachers provide students with formal and informal skills to help them to grow their creative skills. Education is a tool for preparing students to become future leaders. Teachers have the responsibility of teaching students how to imagine an answer or respond to a question by thinking critically. Student needs space to nurture and advance their creative thinking skills and develop their thoughts to ideas. In America, higher education facilities provide learning services and community engagement activities to students in order to teach them how to apply concepts and generate new ideologies. Students become good creative leaders by being provided with opportunities that develop one's thoughts (Harding,2010). The student must learn the behavior of thinking creatively to avoid the challenges. The following are the activities that foster creativity in education. The first one is teacher preparation, where the programs provided should focus on the curriculum and experiences that promote the study environment and work. An institution that practice creative thinking as a culture has always prepared teachers. The second one is an evaluation that involves bringing together the research institution that conducts the study that enhances creative thoughts and behavior. Finally, the research encourages learning by giving experiences, examples, instruction, and a study that is capable of building student creative thinking.

The following are findings of leadership and education themes. The leadership theme ensures the creation of various administrative posts for leaders, for instance, the position of school leaders in various academic institutions. In leadership, most of the leaders are regarded as wise leaders or creative thinkers. For example, leaders are required to think creatively in order to provide a solution for problems. Most of the organization are experiencing changes because many leaders are inspiring them to use creative thinking. A successful organization needs a leader who is goal-oriented and visionary. A good leader should be a creative thinker and a positive person that can inspire other people to be creative. Leaders possess skills that enable them to become wise, gain experiences, be courageous when faced with risks, and confident, for instance, when solving a problem.

In the theme of education, students gain a lot of skills in schools. For example, most of the higher learning institutions have facilities that carry out research. In the study, students learn how to think creatively through the gained experiences. It improves the student reading skills, for example, through teacher preparation programs that motivate student learning. The student is also required to innovative and not to be reliable on classwork activities. Education promotes students to become professionals, for example, through the exposures to a wide of learning activities. Creative thinking helps students to develop their ideas in learning.
