Introduction
Students with special need a lot of care and attention while providing efficient services and help in accomplishing their goals. In ensuring there are organization and equity for all students, then differentiated strategies have to be implemented in providing sufficient services. Career and technical education (CTE) show that there is a problem in meeting the needs of diverse students. However, students have different needs, and handling them appropriately is crucial. To have proper class management in the classrooms, then it is vital to create teamwork among students, solve problems as they arise, have adequate communication channels, and monitor the behavior of students effectively.
To ensure effective differentiation in classrooms and saving time is through grouping down students based on the knowledge and skills they have. Through this, students will associate together and create sufficient approaches to helping all the students. However, pods can also be created through the student captains, where they will provide adequate directions. It is also essential to develop tiered lessons to help in enhancing effective practices and helping students with special needs in their classrooms. Discrimination is discouraged and looking down upon people in the classroom. Necessary precautions are taken on students who abuse others and cause fights. Behavior support plans are implemented to help the students behave and have good morals in classrooms.
Individualized education program (IEP), involves the modifications that the students need. IEP inclusion is vital in classrooms for special students to be part of society and create a sense of belonging through engaging them for prospects. IEP gives the students an opportunity, and through these handouts will be designed to evaluate what students want through answering various questions. Through CTE, students will also be allowed to work on activities and multiple projects to assess the capability and willingness to work.
Through including all the students in the CTE classroom, it will help them think widely and value themselves (Harvey et al., 2019). Students with SES need to be directed accordingly and by making them realize the potentials they have and how valuable they can be to society. Providing working guides and notes that help special students to recognize themselves and motivate them is essential. It will also help in their performance in classrooms and achieving their objectives.
Students with walking problems can be given wheelchairs to facilitate the ease of their work. However, therapy sessions are essential to help the special students since not all people are happy with the states therein. Through feeling disadvantaged and separated from the society, the students in the CTE classrooms can tend to have negative thinking and depression (Emery, 2019). In helping them, therefore, it is essential to talk with them and offer help where necessary. It is vital also to leverage the strengths that the students have. In recognizing their abilities and strengths, then they can focus on the agenda and have a career to work on despite their states.
The digital curriculum can also improve the learning in classes and provide opportunities for the students to know more. Students with eyesight and hearing problems can be helped through machines where they can touch words and study. This will allow each student to learn. For students who find it hard to study and understand, then offering more choices for learning will be useful to help them achieve their goals and ensure there is flexible grouping to support each other in the classroom (Myrick, 2019). However, lessons should be created according to the learning behavior of the students and students having particular interest and ability to work together for effectiveness.
Through formative assessment, then the needs of the student can be known, and effective practices provided for them to enhance their learning. The classroom that the student's study, however, should be supportive and friendly for them. They should view the classrooms as an opportunity for them to achieve the best and meet their goals. The needs of the students, however, vary frequently, and classes, however, should be adjusted according to this aspect. The student management plan is to hold the student accountable for the actions they do and misbehavior. The rules are set to ensure that the right protocols are followed.
