The Target Audience

The communication plan focuses on the teenage population. The adolescent population include those going to high school and university. The younger kids will also be targeted but only those who have attained puberty. Additionally, according to Ingham (2014), those living in the rural areas with less sex education are of interest. Moreover, the campaign targets the young couples who are not ready to have children. The young population is misinformed about issues relating to sex. They often acquire the knowledge from social media and television programs that give false information. Therefore, the communication aims at enlightening the teenagers on matters of sex. Justification of the Target Audience

The target teenage population is viable as it is vulnerable to STI. The teenagers are less informed concerning the sex illnesses.
