Introduction
According to Alshehri, Rezgui, and Li, (2015) observations, community health assessment refers to the proximal research or survey of a given community to be studied. The primary aim of the community health assessment is to define and find the loopholes faced by the community in regards to the issues affecting their health. In many cases, the concept of community health assessment tries to verify the essence of observing health practices to improve the general health of a community.
Factors Affecting Health Assessment
The analysis is widely affected by different factors, ranging from demographics, age, religious practices, as well as religion, as mentioned in the primary survey. In many cases, the level of health literacy is highly associated with the health of a community. This gives the community a significant chance to learn and distinguish health threats that may affect the community as a whole (Bergstrom, et al., 2015). In many cases, a lack of medical coverage, and poor transport facilitates the decrease in health status of a community. Communities leaving in poorly developed areas are faced with a significant health challenge that slowly affects them. However, there are several factors such as exercise and health awareness, which can be created through community health assessment to help reduce the deteriorating pace of community members (Houston, 2015).
Health Promotion Programs
Promotion campaigns are the conventional and most suitable means through which health issues can be critically addressed. Proper campaigns, which educates communities about the essence of good health practices, are used as tools to effectively promote good health in a community (Ashbolt, 2015). This influence their overall behaviors forcing them to adopt a new measure that encourages fitness in their health.
Community Encouragement
In the bottom line, among one of the essential parts of community health assessment is to determine the relationship between the community income and their health challenges (Schnall, et al., 2017). In many cases, health issues are widely associated with poverty, which is generated by poor jobs. Community members undertaking these jobs lack better payments that could support them in terms of diet, shelter, and medication. However, community health assessment seeks to promote encouragement regarding better-paying jobs to help transform health issues of a particular community.
