I am a true believer in change. I believe that every human being deserves to be happy. Health is a crucial matter in transition and community well-being. I joined the college in January this year to pursue a course in medicine. I also work in a hospital as a gynecologist assistant. My job gives me a special kind of joy, waking up every day, knowing that I am helping people in need, curing their pain, and even giving them hope to live with their conditions. Working as a gynecologist assistant is an exciting career. There have never been any same days; every day is different. The medical profession is a calling. It is a learning environment; every day, we come across new ideas and solutions in this career. Finishing my studies will equip me with more knowledge in the medical field. I am convinced that medicine is an introductory course, and having a job as a medical officer is a sign of integrity and respect. To understand why medicine is a critical field of study, we will look at a gynecologist's work, second, a joint presentation one may encounter, and why they are essential in the community.

A gynecologist is a physician who specializes in the reproductive system health of women. The main focus of gynecologists is women's health care. He focuses on the injuries or illnesses of the female reproductive system, hormonal issues, pelvic pains, and breast or cervix cancers. Usually, a gynecologist works with an obstetrician when monitoring a patient's pregnancy. Gynecologists majorly have their private offices, and sometimes they partner with hospitals to provide their services. Others are instructors for graduates who aspire to become gynecologists. To make an accurate diagnosis and proper treatments, gynecologists rely on special equipment in their job. Examples of this equipment are; ultrasounds, forceps, and tractions. Every woman is encouraged to visit a gynecologist regularly to ensure proper reproductive health. A gynecologist builds trust and confidence in the patients because they are involved in confidential subjects. Some patients are sensitive to this type of conversation (Bureau of Labor Statistics n.p).

Possible Presentations in the Career

During their menstrual cycle, many women observe heavy bleeding that may last up to more than a week; a condition known as menorrhagia (Watkins p. 13). Patients with menorrhagia are weak because they lose a lot of blood, and they cramp. Causes of menorrhagia are hormonal imbalance or dysfunctional ovaries. As an assistant and even later, menorrhagia is one of the common presentations I might encounter.

As illustrated above, medicine is a significant career. The well-being of individuals is a critical matter in human being's daily activities. Medical officers save lives, reduce pain, encourage their patients, and ensure better community health. These officers tend to ensure that people are safe; they go the extra mile to ensure individuals' safety and health. What makes them even more efficient is their noble heart, ability to show compassion to their patients, and to form relationships with their patients. Doctors' efforts result in the invention of drugs, vaccines, preventive measures, and even better equipment to facilitate health care. Women's health is an issue that should m considered because they are vulnerable to diseases. Some doctors have volunteered to provide health care to communities that cannot afford such care. A doctor always strives to help a patient.
