Pre-Natal and Birth History
Pregnancy is the conception of the mother where the child begins to be formed in the womb of the mother. Mothers face various challenges during pregnancy that might put the pregnancy in danger risking the lives of the mother and the child. The pregnancy of my mother that led to my birth was considered a normal pregnancy based on health records that I have seen. The pregnancy was deemed to be normal because there were no complications found with my mother that needed urgent medical attention. The only thing that my mother had is lack of enough ion; pregnant mothers need enough ion because developing embryo that have bones developing; hence they need the ion. The APGAR score is not known because the data was not recorded.
I was born maturely at nine months; my mother did not face any challenges during my birth because the pregnancy was healthy and there were no risks that would have made the pregnancy to be either terminated or speeded up before the natural date of birth. My development from the time that I was conceived progressed well without any complications that would have made the doctors opt otherwise of my mother's pregnancy. I was born in Bellevue Hospital, and the birth was normal.
Developmental & Health/Medical History
There are no significant medical problems that I encountered while growing up, all the vaccination requirements were done in the right time has recommended by the doctors, and this enabled me in ensuring that I did not suffer from diseases that could have compromised my health. However, I faced health challenges that are of less concern to seek strict medical attention such as fever. The challenges that I faced while growing up were solved by getting vaccines to diseases that children are exposed to (Cold, 2018). Consuming foods that prevent diseases such as breastfeeding for the first six months enabled me to deal with many health challenges that could have affected my health.
Nutrition was a challenge to me because I did not have the appetite to consume foodstuff. The lack of appetite affected my growth because children require a lot of energy because their bodies are growing hence require the energy (PERKINS, 2017). Fever also affected me; therefore whenever fever was detected diagnosis was don't to ensure that I was not suffering from any other kind of disease. Fever is a symptom of other disease or symptom; hence the diagnosis of the disease need to be done early before the disease spreads to different parts of the body. My mother was also very keen on feeding me with foods that would help boost my immune system to fight disease-causing elements.
My developmental milestone began while I was six months old the time that I began to crawl. The crawling started earlier than the normal time because crawling is expected to begin at nine months. The crawling is the first step before the person walks. The crawling enabled me to walk at the age of twelve months. Initially I faced challenges in standing, but eventually, I was able to stand on my own without support. Walking and talking come nearly at the same time because I was able to pronounce a few words that I used to hear frequently.
Family History
The family that I grew up in was comprised of my parents and I only, there were no other kids within the family. I did not face challenges in getting along with my family because I was used to hanging out with them all the time. My good relationship with my parents has enabled me to deal with interrelationship conflict that usually comes up. There are no problems in terms of good terms with my parents.
Social History
I faced challenges while relating to other kids of my age that we were playing and going to school with. The challenging peer relationships enabled me to learn how to interact with other people that are not family members. I was shy because I was not used to interacting with different people. My main hobby was playing soccer; therefore, it helped me interact with different people. The playing of soccer made me happy. I now don't face challenges while interacting with other people that were not used to. I know you have the strength of self-esteem when dealing with challenges.
Educational & Vocational History
Am currently a college freshman since I joined the college at the beginning of the month. I had gone to several schools before I joined college, high school was challenging for me because there were several subjects that I was supposed to hand at the same time. I participated in various activities while in high school because I had a lot of free ties that I needed to utilize. The parents were also involved in school activities because they needed to encourage the students. I was bright, and this is reflected in the grades that I got. I performed well in high school, and this allowed me to continue with my studies in college.
