Health care issue is the main focus of the United States House of Representatives. Concerning the bill, the House of Representatives has had five hearings (Nuzum et al, 2015). Up to now, the various hearings have laid emphasizes on the protection for everyone with preexisting circumstances and lawsuits pursued over the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act.

Lawmakers have had discussions for the latest parts of legislation so as to bring behind the policies of the Affordable Care Act that were made by Trump administration. Two of the bills passed by the House of Representatives laid focus on the recent federal ruling so that there is expanded access to short and limited insurance durations (Musco et al, 2015). The two bills had different circumstances. The first bill reversed the rule while the other bill imposed added disclosures that were required on the short term plans (Ortega et al, 2016). Consequently, the third bill was raised and this bill overruled the recent guidelines on the state waivers under section 13332 of the Affordable Care Act together with the final bill that outreached ACA marketing.

Various bills on the hearings laid focus on four bills as they particularly focused on the short term plans (Buchanan, 2017). Various Democratic members in Congress made a focus on the limitations of the short term periodic plans for people with preexisting health conditions. Secondly, the democratic congress asked questions if the short term plans were being aggressive while being marketed to the customers. Also, there are highlights on various recent reports from various health centers that found out that some practices of the act are being used to market the much supported short term plans.

As a member of the Congress, proposing insurance exchanges could be a key pillar of covering the Affordable Care Act (Quadagno et al, 2016). Secondly, proposing the laws that are called by the state with specific exchanges where private insurance businesses are able to bring products with major benefits to the individuals.
