Introduction
Informatics technology is one of the trending tools in healthcare, and it has greatly influenced nursing care. Informatics technology in healthcare is one of the technologies that describes digital acquisition, retrieval, interpretation, presentation, and storage of health information to improve collaboration among nursing practices and patient care. It plays a vital role in promoting better health care across the world. The concept of information and communication technology is significantly used to develop informatics technology tools; however, it is more considerate of medical science as it applies more of informatics practices and concepts to real-life health situations to achieve positive outcomes. I selected this topic because it is one of the most important evolutions of technology on healthcare that has positively impacted the way healthcare institutions perform medical operations. The use of informatics technology in healthcare has become a field of specialization where information technology and communication facilities are linked to healthcare to promote quality service delivery. I am interested in this topic because it has dramatically helped to reduce most of the challenges associated with traditional information central in healthcare. This paper, therefore, annotates various articles on informatics technology and its impact on nursing care.
I performed a search on medical databases by utilizing two databases; PubMed and BioMed to search for articles on informatics technology in healthcare. My search was based on the topic and the year of publication (at least within five years) to optimize the results of the search. The chosen articles have presented the impact of informatics technology on healthcare services.

The authors describe the impacts of the use of health information technology (HIT) they affirm that the technology in healthcare is trending and the intervention of informatics technology has positive impacts on healthcare services. They identify that in most of the healthcare institutions, informatics has shown a dramatic impact on nursing care practices; it has given healthcare providers the ability to explore new potentials in healthcare that is brought about by the advancement not in technology as a result of other trends in healthcare technologies such as telehealth, informatics plays a vital role. The article also suggested that despite the positive Impacts of informatics, in other areas, this tool has negative impacts. In some cases, this technology leads to dissatisfaction from use perspectives, loss of job opportunities as technology replaces the human workforce. Also, the use of informatics technology is costly as it involves the use of expensive devices and highly specialized personal.
The article, therefore, suggests that informatics technology has a positive impact on patient's safety and quality of healthcare services. Through the implementation of this tool, precision medicine has dramatically improved. The informaticians in healthcare have reduced challenges as a result of the intervention of this program in many of the intuitions. In nursing perspectives, the article affirms that technology has improved evidence-based -practice in healthcare; it also promotes research practices as digital data can easily be manipulated assessed.
