Introduction
Computers have significantly increased in the past decade in America and worldwide. With the growth in computers, the demand for computer services is growing as well as a higher rate. Computer repair services will provide the necessary support to various owners and home users. The first two months of operation will be crucial for the business to create a good reputation and credibility by offering quick and quality services to our clients. The extraordinary increase in technological innovation creates a constant need for businesses skilled customers and providing services and advice on computer related issues.
Industry Analysis
Employment in the computer and repair sector in the United States and 2010, over 550,000 individuals were employed, and the figure is expected to be far much high in 2018. About 70% work in small businesses of approximately 3-5 people while 20% of the individuals worked for companies (Fitness Industry Analysis 2018). Over the past decade, computer services have advanced from not only offering to fix and to upgrade computers to providing other services such as computer higher and sells. The industry is mainly controlled by original equipment manufacturers, where companies visit their customers to repair products that they manufacture.
Computer users prefer assistance services based on the reputation of the business, price, and experience. Customers less prefer seeking help from a company whom they have heard nothing about; hence large and reputable store has an advantage because of the association with an already established brand. It is crucial for our business to develop a renowned brand within the first two months of operation will be critical for our success in penetrating to the competitive industry. To effectively compete with already established businesses, our prices for hire and repair will be a reasonable and high quality of service.
Competition Analysis
There are two major competitors in computer service provision. The first competitors are the well-established providers that provide reliable and fast services. Conversely, they experience high significant staff turnover, and the workforce is focused on selling new components than preserving the prevailing customers with a majority of them do not give pick-up and drop-off services (Sides & Rod 2018). They majorly rely on offering hardware support. The second competitors are less known and provide services to home users. Most of this competitors are willing to spend substantial time with their customers to establish needs and new solutions. However, they experience inefficient ordering systems and poorly organized shops. These category of competitors are likely to be the main competitors of our business and can copy our invention in the industry; however, their managing is contented and might take longer to respond to competition.
