Organizational behavior is amongst the most significant aspects of every business. There are various workplaces I have observed; however, I have found Home Depot in some capacity. Through the activities of Home Depot, I have seen the culture of the workplace and its relation to the company's mission. Since it aims at becoming the most significant customer service provider, it has created a culture of interaction. In this workplace setting, I have observed people within the company work together as a community and the strive to realize the sole mission. Additionally, the workplace setting is offering major community programs that support the society as a whole. With a much more in-depth consideration of the structure of Home Depot, the aspects of this organization relate to the organizational behavior since employees can access community in a single voice which fosters the overall organizational productivity.

Since organizational behavior entails the study of how people and groups interact and behave within corporations or organizations, the organizational behavior is guided by various anchors; (the multidisciplinary anchor, the systematic research anchor, the contingency anchor, and the multiple levels of analysis anchor). The multidisciplinary anchor derives that organizational behavior is a setting within which theories, disciplines, and models are developed. An example of the disciplines includes sociology. Moreover, the systematic research anchor elaborates that organization gathers information in a detailed manner requiring quantitative analysis which delivers a basis for organizational behavior. The contingency anchor dictates that different decisions and actions provide different consequences to the organization. It needs the awareness that different solutions work in different organizational problems. As for the multiple levels of analysis anchor, it dictates that solutions need elevations from varying perspectives. It divides corporate behavior into an individual level, team, and organizational level. Also, it focuses on the analysis of the effects at different levels which is a basis of organizational behavior (McShane and Von Glinow, 2013).
However, a real situation in the participation by sociologist and psychologists. Both the psychologists and sociologists are contributing to organizational behavior especially on the multidisciplinary anchor.
