Children development is one area that most nation emphasizes since children are expected inherit the leadership position as well as steering the country's developmental project in the future. Most explicitly, children are expected to develop in all aspects of life more so educational wise, culturally, and health-wise. Goo educational foundation will equip a child with adverse knowledge and skills that will enable the child to be a competitive job wise in society. Either, education will allow children to eradicate ignorance; hence; they will understand some of basic morals and law. Cultural practices equip children with acceptable norms and values that will make them morally upright. Poverty Level

Child Labor

There is a high level of the poverty rate in Yemen due to the unstable economic status of this country. Most children end up on the street since they cannot tolerate the level of poverty within their homes and lack of basic life requirements like food. This has made some children seek for child labor initiative so that they can make their own money that would save them from depending on the adult members of the society and the suffering they are undergoing from their low-income family members (Lackner, 2014).

Homelessness

It is noted that some lack proper shelter because of the rate of poverty level that engulfs their families. There a group of people who are not employed and are living in extreme poverty, hence they cannot afford meeting daily demand of life. These people end up living at the mercy of others to acquire some basic need of life like water and food. The children from these families suffer since they forgo food. Some children suffer from malnourishment since the meal that they take lack some nutritional values and essential amino acids responsible for the proper growth and body development. This high level of poverty cannot allow these children to acquire education hence the right to seek knowledge is denied. Nevertheless, children from this homelessness have poor health status, and mostly they suffer from lifestyle diseases due to depending on the poor diet. The common diseases hinder children health development (Lackner, 2014).

Street Children

Notably, many street children in Yemen constituting children from the very low-income families who are left after their parents die and after lacking people to take of them after the demise of their parents. Some children make it to the street to escape exploitation they receive from their relatives after the death of the biological parents. Either, some children go to the street after being abandoned by their parents who cannot take care of them hence leaving them stranded, and these children have the street as the only option for their survival. Eventually, there are many children in the street since there is lack of a proper plan for the homelessness kids, which can help them, become rehabilitated due to the poor state of the government to build many rehabilitation centers.

Health Status

The health status of children from Yemen is deteriorating since they feed on a poor diet. The poverty level in several homes cannot allow the family members to seek medication when fall sick exposing the lives of the citizen to more suffering. The poor health condition is also contributed by drinking unclean water that makes them prone to water-borne diseases like Typhoid.

Education

The early childhood education is on the downscale trend particularly to children from low-income families due to lack of proper planning from these families to take their children to school. These families have lost purpose in life hence operate in hopelessness ground. Either, early childhood education is not emphasized in Yemen because the government does not have a laid down procedure to support the education sector. The schools have few teachers and children caretakers to take care of very tender aged children. Unfortunately, early childhood institutions have insufficient teaching resources to aid in promoting early childhood education within different schools. Teachers' low morale in teaching in early childhood schools and programs since their payment s are very low. Concisely, early childhood education is so weak due to lack of proper planning from the authority to fully support the early childhood education program. Moreover, children have a low attitude to cultural practices since the families do not mentor them accordingly since the thinking of how to source food for the family carries parents mind away.

Comparative Analysis of Yemen and the US

According to a report from the Human Development Index, the US has a well-advanced early childhood program than that in Yemen. The US has more teaching resources than Yemen. For instance, there are more teachers and facilities like classrooms in the US than in Yemen. The classes are well built in the US due to adequate funding unlike in Yemen, which could not match the US due to a relatively higher rate of poverty than in the US. Concisely, the early education system is the US is well coordinated since the government fully supports it unlike in Yemen, which struggles due to unlimited funds. However, there are some similarities in the early childhood program from both the US and Yemen. For example, both the countries have the program of early childhood education in their policy implying that both countries support the children development. Both nations have resources to aid early childhood programs within the entire state. Both allocate funds to support early childhood education. Moreover, both countries are committed to promoting early childhood education in their respective countries (World Bank Group, 2014).

Challenges

In the US, teachers face challenges to meet the increasing number of children enrolled each year since more teachers are necessary to maintain the child-teacher ratio which is very crucial in the proper development of the child since children get so close to teachers thus, it is easier for the teachers to identify their talents from the tender age. However, in Yemen, teachers are so few, and the facilities like the classroom are in poor condition that does not motivate teachers and children to work and pursue early education respectively. Maintaining the early childhood education in the US makes the government strain to meet the demand of the first program since the standard of development is very high since the government values the early childhood development so that their talents can be tapped.

In Yemen, the government lacks sufficient capital; hence, it is poorly organized. Unfortunately, these challenges mainly those facing Yemen, is that it hinders the proper development of children. Children need to acquire a strong education foundation so that they can become more innovative and creative in the future. Nevertheless, poor planning affects the cultural interaction among the children since they do not participate in different school program organized by other country schools; hence, they lack exposure. In the US, children talents are well taped, and they share the cultural values well among themselves and others from different nations thus promoting the cultural exchange (Lackner, 2014).

Interventions

The Yemen government has been trying to fund early childhood education programs by channeling fund to help improve this sector. The government does the role of ensuring teachers are employed through the funds are not enough to meet the increasing population of the children. The government, through campaigns, participates in highlighting the public on the importance of supporting early childhood education programs for the development of children, which is very important in nurturing their talents from the tender age. Moreover, the government encourages donations from the well-wishers to support the early childhood education program on the ground that it would boost the education standard of the country. Most explicitly, the government has been purchasing learning facilities to various institutions and even employing mentors and directors to run the early childhood institution.

Lifestyle in Yemen

Most families live in a poor lifestyle characterized by poor diet intake, which increases their chance of being diagnosed with lifestyle diseases such as obesity, Ulcers, and Hypertension. Most families go without eating since there is always incidents of hunger strike as watched in the video where mothers are carrying hungry children resulting in loss of some lives through starvation. There is also plunging of the fuel revenues and generally financial turmoil; hence, the living standard is so low and poor among the Yemen citizens (Lanchovichina, Mottaghi, & Devarajan, 2015). The extended type of family who lives in a single compound is exercised with several children per family. Food insecurity and malnutrition is severe even though there are some few people with a luxurious lifestyle, as they own private vehicles. Most families depend on bread for breakfast, lunch, and supper. The state of the road is poor suggesting a poor transport system and farming is not thriving due to poor weather. Additionally, the unemployment rate is alarming.

I would firmly support the early childhood education programs within the country since it is very vital in determining the future of the country in terms of innovations and creativity. The early childhood education program is a key factor in identifying children talents and ability from the early stage; hence help in nurturing the recognized skills well. Therefore, I would invest in this program heartedly. I would seek for loans and grants to continue supporting early childhood education in Yemen. I would conduct thorough campaigns across the country to help the public develop more attitudes and hence continue to support the program even though the donations towards the program. Either, I would set a certain age that any child in Yemen will be required to register in any early childhood education center and I will recommend it to be a compulsory policy. Eventually, I would support the construction of more training institutions for early childhood teachers and caretakers to upgrade their skills and knowledge on the early childhood program.

Concisely, after analyzing the importance of having early childhood programs, it can be concluded that it is very crucial for any country to support the idea and the implementation of the program. Children whose talents are well nurtured will become more innovators and creative, therefore, will help the countries in reducing the state of the unemployment rate, which is an issue to many countries particularly to youths. Besides, any nation would be advised to invest in the early childhood education program since it has many benefits both to the development of the children as well as in improving the education standard of the entire country.
