Introduction
Heart disease has been prevalent over the time, and this has posed great challenge ti the American economy. Statistics has it that a quarter of the total population in America is likely to die of the problem of heart disease that is one out of every four people is likely to die of the complications that are associated with the heart. The interventions have tried it out and have come up with a strategy which so far has been able to reduce the chances of the male in the United States to die of heart disease as compared to that of the female. The women in the menopause are a higher risk of suffering from this disease.
The risk of the infection is proved to be on the rise with more of the symptoms observed from the women in the menopause period. It otherwise is noted that menopause does not cause the disease, but the impacts of this disease are majorly observed on women who are ten years into the menopause period proving that the onset of the menopause period is not the onset of the infections of the heart disease though this age is at a higher risk Gray, E. B., La Hoz, R. M., Green, J. S., Vikram, H. R., Benedict, T., Rivera, H., & Montgomery, S. P. (2018).. Studies reveal it that the disease has an attachment with the hormonal system of the body and this explains why the women at a younger age have lower chances of contracting the disease than men and the chances increase as they approach the old age. This is scientifically explained to be due to the reduction of the levels of estrogen which decline after menopause hence making it more risky for the women to suffer the increasing chances of the heart disease.
According to the view of Hoang, T. T., Goldmuntz, E., Roberts, A. E., Chung, W. K., Kline, J. K., Deanfield, J. E., ... & Porter Jr, G. A. (2018), the heart is so much connected to the brain, and this makes it work in a very close relationship with the operations of the brain. The body has systems that directly connected to the two drivers of the body systems. Mental health is closely related to the heart disease since the systems of the body are majorly controlled by the brain. The flow of the impulses and information within the body is carried out by the fluid system such as the blood circulation system in the body. The heart as an organ is responsible for the pumping of the blood which ensures the blood goes all over the body. The blood is the system in which all the materials flow in the body, including the nutrients, air and even the byproducts to be eliminated from the body (Hoang et, al. 2018). The heart, therefore, is very crucial in ensuring that the circulation is maintained in the body by giving the blood a push which results from the pressure exerted from the pumping of the blood. In the case where there is an infection of the heart such as heart failure, the process will not efficiently be carried out, and this may even lead to the death of the individual affected.
High blood pressure can overload the heart, as well as the coronary arteries which I turn, may speed up the process of clogging of the artery. The very effect is likely to lead to the failing I supply of the metabolic requirements of the body to the cells that require them. At the same time, the brain needs a blood supply to remain function ate, and failure in the circulatory system will, therefore, mean that the other processes of the body will be sabotaged in totality. Heart disease is connected to mental health in several ways, and this makes it also to affect the brain system. Heart disease has depression as one of the independent factors that facilitate its occurrence. The general risks of heart disease are linked with depression, and this has been proven among the higher percentage of patients of heart disease.
The recovery measures that are put in place majorly considered to increase the chances of the contraction of the disease. The recent studies reveal that anxiety is as a result of the heart disease and this a firms that the effect of the heart disease has a greater impact about the brain. This, therefore, causes negative impacts on the social life of the individual as a result of the effect of the mental health.
The disease of the heart is one who can take a long time with an individual depending on the control measures that are given to it as well as the attention is given towards controlling. Treating the heart disease has not been proved to be easy in many times individuals may live with the disease for such quite a longer period. The length of the period and the time that in individuals has taken suffering from the heart disease defines the different perceptions that the different people will develop towards the very infection. Stories that go round into the ears of the people also cause fear in the victims of the disease. There are much of the psychological impacts on the individuals that are diagnosed of the disease and most feel like it is going to be the end of the life through the counseling is done to them to have them develop courage and to stand strong in ensuring that they regain their conscience.
The disease is proven to be treatable though it may take a longer time for it to heal. The individuals that are just recently diagnosed are the most affected since they are introduced into a new world and they suffer much of the stress. At this stage, they have the risk of suffering the mental infections like anxiety which have disastrous effects on the lives of the individuals. They feel like it is no more and some even go to the extent of giving up with experience. Some other people go to the extent of distributing their properties and writing will to share out their wealth. At this stage, the individual is disturbed and puts much of his attention to finding a solution for the disease.
They are ready to do anything hopefully to get themselves healed. Otherwise the other group of individuals who have stayed with the disease for a longer time that is twenty-five years are a little used to the situation in which they are in. Most of the people in this stage are conformed to the condition and accept it as part of their life and see it as no big deal. At this point, the individuals are relaxed having been sure that they will at one time die of heart disease awing to the fact that they must have tried out several ways of getting themselves treated and healed of the same but has appeared like it has failed and hence they are settled. They work on other things and trust much on the operations and actions that will help them live longer and not concentrated much on the complete treatment of the disease. Many of the individuals at this level tend to believe that this disease cannot be treated completely but can only be controlled to lengthen the life spurn.
Because of the prevalence of the heart disease, some older women have controlled conditions for the disease. As they take the control measures against the disease, there are changes that take place in their bodies that make them less vulnerable to contract the disease even in the decline of their hormonal operations, the estrogen hormone in specific. Since the buildup of the fatty deposits in the walls of the artery for a long period of time is the major cause of the heart disease, the old women with controlled conditions towards the heart disease have a better maintained of their coronary system and less of the buildup of these fatty deposits hence keeping their heart rates (Saito, S., Krucoff, M. W., Nakamura, S., Mehran, R., Maehara, A., Al-Khalidi, H. R., ... & Okaniwa, Y. 2018). The control measures taken by these individuals is important in reversing the risk of the disease of the heart attacking them. It will lower, change, avoid or delay the occurrence of the threat to the individual. The controlled conditions will as well soften the stiff arteries to ensure there is no or lowered blood pressure to these individuals hence making them a little safer from the suffering.
On the other hand, the older women mostly past the menopause that is above sixty-five years of age are exposed to much risk of suffering from the heart disease. This is as a result of several things and changes that take place in their bodies. Some of the changes that take place in their bodies include; increased stiffness of the large arteries, called arteriosclerosis. This is likely to cause heart failure which is a dangerous situation of the victim to be in. Other changes like increase in the chambers of the heart, weakening of the muscles of the heart and changes in the electrical system of the heart are likely to cause greater impacts on the individuals. The aging of the women also has a psychological impact about the heart disease. Those that do not have a controlled conditions of the disease are more likely to be tormented in mind and are likely to live in fear of being attacked by the disease at any time. This makes them lose confidence in their ways of living. On the contrary, those older women who live under the control measures of the heart disease are confident since the risk of the risk is much reduced in them because of the precautionary measures taken.
The diet of the older women suffering from heart disease is one of the key areas that have to be taken into consideration. The victim who is aging has a completely different consideration to another victim who is still considered to be young say thirty-five years. This is major because the young victim still has an active system which naturally asserts some sense of control of the condition. Foe the older individuals the foods taken should be those that have a low saturation of the fats, added sugar and salt. As the individuals get older they get more sensitive to salt and hence taking many salts increases the risk in the individuals as well as sugar (Saito, S., Krucoff, M. W., Nakamura, S., Mehran, R., Maehara, A., Al-Khalidi, H. R., ... & Okaniwa, Y. 2018).
At the same time, the activity of the body also reduces with the increase in the age; this poses challenges in the burning of the fats to prevent the buildup of the fatty products in the body ad event the calories. The fatty substances in the body may lead to heart failure, and heart attack hence is more risky for the aging victims. The diet is advised to have much of the fruits, vegetables, like those foods that are made from whole grains and foods high in fiber. The dietary information is crucial in the control of the condition on the individuals with the heart disease. The older individuals are as well advised to avoid stress and hard tasks to avoid their pressure buildup. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle for the older is more appropriate (Hershberger, R. E., Givertz, M. M., Ho, C. Y., Judge, D. P., Kantor, P. F., McBride, K. L., ... & Ware, S. M. 2018).
On the other hand, the individuals suffering from the same disease and are young are supposed to take plenty of energy foods such as carbohydrates and a bit of fat. This is because their body activities like metabolic activities are still very active and can eliminate most of these substances. They also need much of the energy to keep them going on in this condition. They are as well expected to consume plentiful of the fruits. The iron food substances are essential to them as well and getting involved in physical exercises which will help in the balancing of the buildup of the chemicals in the body which may be toxic.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the heart disease is one disease that is becoming common more or so in the United States of America. The risk of this disease is higher in the aging women past menopause than men. This, however, does not mean that the men are not in a position of contracting the disease but only that they have a lower percentage of contracting it. The women experience a decline in the estrogen...
