How It Relates to the Literary Works Chosen

The topic supports the literary works of Eden Robinson. In his book, Eden narrates a story of two adolescents Will and Eric(Robinson, np). They are both victims of poor parenting and dysfunctional family set-up. It is a story set up in modern Millennia.

The research also related to the literary works of Alice Munroe the Flat Roads, which is a series of short related stories on women's Life (Bigot, p55). Munroe tells the story of a girl named Del Jordan, growing up in Ontario. Through the girl, the artist explains the challenges the adolescent girl has to go through as she grows up.

When this research is related to the relations between parents and adolescents, it is clear that even though the conflict behaviors of adolescents can be explained partially through their parents' heredity, there is a lack of explanations for differences in style.

Summary

The source focuses on the millennials and their interplay with the post-racial society myth. According to the source, there is a belief by some academics that the millennials are in a position to solve some of the thorny social issues causing consternation and great debate among the American public.

Evaluation and Explanation

From such thoughts brought by the source, it is a suggestion that the younger generation personifies and embrace a more inclusive society. The Millennial has a positive outlook on social life and is ready to contribute towards development. They are however not courageous enough to start this move especially due to peer pressure.

The source is reliable and authoritative from the data it has used to reach such conclusions. The source will be useful in my final paper as it will present an argument on the benefits of different opinions and ideologies of the younger generation of millennials.

Summary

The article explores the premise that the current generation is in the middle of a generational shift in the styles of cognition, and that such changes pose serious challenges not only to the interplay between the younger generation and their elders but also to the education system at all levels. The author argues that the shift increases with an increase in the youngness of the group and that this can already be seen in the universities and colleges of the current time. The source is highly reliable as far as my topic is concerned, as it will add significant knowledge to my paper by inciting ideas on how differences in the generations have impacted education.

Evaluation and Explanation

It will further my study by supporting the argument that indeed differences in generations have impacts on the society and the players. The element of cognition is critical information to the study, and the information that there is a shift in cognitive styles will help to add to the literature. The shift in the cognitive styles of the young people is addressed in Alice Munroe's literary work, where Del Jordan is constantly seeking to find her voice.

Summary

The research focuses on the generational divide and the influence It has on the process of making decisions. An example used in the article is that of the increasing gap in voter turnout between older and younger citizens is attributed to the changing societal characteristics of elections. Moreover, the research holds the opinion that delayed transition to adulthood is a significant cause of such increased divergence in the extent of variation between older and younger in terms of decision making.

Evaluation and Explanation

I find the source reliable based on its empirical data that tries to create a connection between age and other variables, which in this case in voter turnout. As a result, the information from the source would be significant to my final study as it would add to the thesis of the generational divide, with age being a significant factor as it is revealed in this study. The source is important in concluding both the behaviors of Will in Eden's book and Jordan in the book of Alice. The two characters have an urge to choose a social path different from everybody else in society.
