The organization of interest in the Canadian Red Cross. It is a humanitarian, charitable organization founded and established in 1896 and later incorporated in 1909. It is a volunteer-based organization that offers training and service such as disaster response, prevention of injury services, emergency response, first aid training, and other outdoor activities. The organization also offers a wide range of community support services that supports the day to day services to elderly adults, caregivers, and other groups such as the vulnerable in Canada.

The proposed vision will help the organization adapt to the new technologies, and this will help it link well with those affected hence creating a strong communication base.

In every business and organization, there exist different factors that, in one way or the other affects its functionality. To identify these underlying factors, the organization ought to implement multiple approaches that include SWOT Analysis, Pestle Analysis, BCG matrix, Porter's 5-Force of Analysis, among others. Before implementing the mentioned techniques, the organization ought to consider various factors. Some of the major factors that a company or an organization tends to focus on include its strength, value differentiation, and threats that may accrue from other areas.
Strengths
The organization has a long history, a strong, appealing vision, and mission, very strong brand equity, a high level of accountability and it is readily trusted by donors
Weaknesses
It has poor work relations, does not have a requisite innovation, lacks or limited funds, portrays a negative public presentation due to the misuse of donor funds
Opportunities
There are many opportunities available for the organization; they include the expansion of goods and services and high-quality innovation; in Canada, most organizations do not provide blood; thus, this is an opportunity for the organization to venture.
Threats
The organization faces stiff competition from other companies; it is also highly affected by heavy taxes and unfavorable government policies
Conclusion
The strategic direction is already mentioned in the organization's proposed vision statement that is to provide training based on the changes in the new technologies to provide a strong communication base for the affected by various crises. In this, the organization will have a huge competitive advantage against its competitors; thus, this will provide the organization with growth. These changes will provide effective management for the organization, meaning that leadership changes will be inevitable to some extent. Creating a strong communication base for the organization will help the organization be recognized more in Canada and in other parts of the world as a body that strongly supports the needs of those affected by humanitarian crises. To some extent, this will compel the government and other Non-governmental organizations to channel more funds to support the organization.
