Introduction
A person is rich or poor according to what he is, not according to what he possesses. In life, we live and face choices every day that only we can answer. We decide how we run our lives, and we are defined by how we run our lives. Accomplishing the right thing as compared to the wrong something is a definition of integrity. People would have a much safer world if they were forced to comply, and nobody forces us to do anything. It's only ourselves who can form personal integrity since nobody can control our integrity unless we allow it to be changed. Integrity is entirely essential to a community, and if a whole community does not possess morals, the result will be a wrong community. People tend not to flourish; a generation of bad kids will come up, resulting in a continuous cycle of immortality.
I used to have a firm attitude to individuals who appeared to exploit their power. When individuals would act exceptionally because they possessed a lot of money, I would have a stiff feeling in my gut and jaw. I would conclude to myself that they should not be lording it over other individuals simply because they possessed more money, specifically if they hadn’t even made money themselves, it was the inheritance they had not earned. As time went by, I realized that the behaviors and attitudes I was condemning in others were actually ones that I had displayed but had not wished to concede to myself. I started to discover that, although I treated myself as a better person and had accomplished many good things in my life, I, at times, acted from self-serving desires. In particular, I discovered that I, too, had loarded stuff over people. I had just acted like those people I was reacting to earlier. However, my style was a bit diverse. I used capabilities that I had inherited, rather than the use of money to validate my act of superiority, but the outcome was similar. I made people feel a minute so that I would feel substantial.
At times, making myself feel substantial took profound ways, and I started to view that one form it took for me was in the way of superiority complex. I could accomplish good work, but then, privately, I would conclude it detached me from commitments that an everyday individual would have, such as getting rid of the trash or answering phone calls or emails. I would conclude, ‘I shouldn’t have to do such activities because I’m giving out so much in other fields. I’m too occupied to be disturbed with prevalent worries.’ Similarly, when I provided to other people, my valuable endeavors in the universe developed into an excuse to live up to measures of ordinary human decorum. It was initially intimidating to discover I had demoted people to create my ego, and that I had lied to myself that my sharing was helping others when it was serving myself. After all, I was a student leader who was supposed to serve others, and here I was, realizing that I had utilized my authority to make myself feel superior at the expense of other people. This was not precisely the picture I had to myself.
However, discovering my evil desires with consciousness turned out to be uncommonly liberating for me. I had no notion how much consideration, energy, and time had gone into maintaining those awful desires under wraps. I had no sense of how isolated it had made me feel from other people. As I became more aware of my wishes, realizing where they have been charitable and where they have been self-serving, I have attained an awe impression of freedom and wholeness. I can sense how, in the past, I divided my power. I utilized a segment of it to develop things in the universe and a portion of it to maintain my wicked desires in check. It was like I had been preserving an eye to myself to be convinced I didn’t accomplish anything wrong. Once I started to be reliable with myself regarding my intentions, I realized that I could relate with other individuals more calmly since I didn’t require to hole up anything. As I started to change from self-serving desires to help other people, I could believe in myself much openly, and it implied that other people could place their confidence in me more comfortably. Today, in most instances, when I identify other people who are self-serving and acting exceptional, I don’t possess the vivid emotional responses that I used to have. Instead, I frequently get an impression of kindness since I’m aware of what it feels like to be on my high horse, and I’m capable of reacting more efficiently since I feel more pleased and centered with other people. This has built me into a happier person and a more effective leader.
