Focus Groups
This method relies on personal experiences of individuals who are consulted during a research to aid in the evaluation of evidence (Kaufman, Ryan, & Hill, 2018). Typically, the method is used as a way of gaining a deeper understanding of social issues. Therefore, this method can be used in determining compassion fatigue in nurses.
A Comparison of Focus Groups and Clinical Audit
The similarity between the clinical audit and focus groups is that both ways evaluate evidence based on the quality of life of a patient. However, they adopt different approaches. Clinical audit depends on the policies and guidelines on health care while focus groups rely on personal experiences.
