Introduction

I had the opportunity of visiting the national park, a dream that I had from my childhood. I had heard and read many stories since my childhood about the interesting experiences that people have when they visit national parks. The visit to the national park. I had a lot of experiences that are memorable, and the experience also made me learn a couple of things about wild animals and how the animals live in the jungle. The wild animals live in a natural environment, which is different from the environment that human beings live in. My visit to the national park made me realize the importance of taking care of the environment and the role that the natural environment plays in supporting life. The national park comprises of the natural environment where both the living and non-living organisms remain their natural way without being influenced by external factors. The national park has been successful in ensuring that human activities do not invade and destroy the natural habitat of the national park where the animals and the plant co-exist in a natural way. There are no human activities in the national park allowing the animals and the plants to live on their own without interference. It was an interesting experience to see wild animals living on their own in the jungle.

There are animals that dominate others, especially the big five animals have control over other animals where they influence the population and how other organisms stay within the national park. For example, I saw the lions hunting the gazelles, and I learn that they influence the population of gazelles in the national park. The most interesting part was the experience when I saw a lion hunting a gazelle unsuccessfully because the gazelle had a faster speed than the lion. The gazelle seemed to know the environment more than the lion in terms of escaping the stones and tree branches that blocked the lion from catching the gazelle. The animals have not evolved like the rest of the organisms that live on earth in terms of finding their source of food.

The diversity of the number and types of animals that live in the national park caught my attention. There are different kinds of animals that live in the national park, and in a way, they rely on each other for survival. There is limited land within the national park, but the animals can live within the limited area and even increase in population. The visit made me think of how the world could be able to sustain the ever-growing human population if the people we're protecting the environment around where they live. People are continuously destroying the environment by releasing harmful products such as fossil fuels. The national park is a good example that people can learn from on the importance of protecting the environment.

I loved the environment in the forest as there was a cool breeze, which was refreshing. The air was fresh, free from any form of pollution. There was no unnecessary noise from motor vehicles, humans, or any machinery. I enjoyed the cool breeze, which was coming from various types of trees, both tall and short. Many trees had new leaves that were growing after withering during the winter season. The fresh green leaves made the environment cool. The trees had flowers with different colors and different scents. The mixture of all this scent together with the cold breeze from the leaves produced an extraordinary smell that was relaxed the mind after each breath. In these flowers, some insects were moving from one tree to the other. The buzzing sounds from the insects were like a melody to my ears and made the environment more appealing. These insects were busy moving from one flower to the other, and it was enjoyable looking at them, especially because they were of different colors.

It was a brilliantly sunny morning, and the sun perfectly reflected on the leaves. The golden sun reflection on the green leaves and the green glass was fascinating. The glorious shining of the sun, together with the blue sky, enhanced the serenity of the national park. The serenity was excellent, and the movement of the leaves to the direction of the wind was worth looking at. The majority of the trees were tall and had huge leaves that provided shades to the thick grass. These tall trees provide habitat to the birds that I could see fetching grass to thatch their habitats. The birds were producing sweet melodies that were soothing to the eyes. There were birds with varying colors, some with blue and grey combination, others with black and yellow while there were those who had white as a dominant color. One they landed on a tree, the combination of their color, the green color of the leaves, and the color of the flowers were magical.

I could see the leaves of some trees, especially the old damaged, curled, and yellow. The insets were visible from both the leave and the stems. The insects significantly damaged the trees, and they seemed to have stayed there for a long time. Some of the insects were green and camouflaged well with the green leaves of the trees (Graves 115). Some worms were on the stems and the leaves and were actively destroying the trees.

The feelings that had when I saw the animals that I had not seen before were excitement and nervous feelings. I had read how some wild animals are dangerous hence people needed to be careful to avoid being attacked by the wild animals. Whenever I saw the lions I opted to close the windows of the vehicle as a measure to ensure that the animals do not attack me. There were instances where I met and saw some animals that scare me a lot including snakes. In one incidence I was unable to talk because of the scare by one of the snakes.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my visit the national park made me feel nice having met my dream of seeing major wild animals that exist in the world. The visit influenced my life in terms of how I will be taking care of the environment and world animals. I know understand that there are organisms that are at the risk of extinction. Human beings need to understand the importance of taking care of wild animals and nature by conserving the environment.
