The management faces a lot of marketing deficiencies in the geographical area as a result of ineffective promotional procedures. As a result of a diversified number of staffs, the management of workers often becomes problematic. The organization conducts regular training to the workers, a procedure that is usually costly for the organization.

With the kind of services offered in the organization as well as the reputation, the management often acquires professionals from different learning institutions, a situation that enables them to improve on their already existing workforce.
Threats
The changes in the insurance plans hinder medical service delivery. The organization is always on the verge of losing most of the patients as a result of changes in the medical cover for the patients already enrolled. The adverse government policies and geographical policies often hinder organizational activities. The economic slowdown is also another factor that hinders the financial activities in the Lions Gate Hospital. The advancing level of diseases and complications related to the treatment processes poses threats to the Lions Gate Hospital; the advancing disease forces the organization to invest in many research in an attempt to train more medical professionals (Kirsch et al.2013, p.15). The hospital hopes to control the number of patients that are often sent to other hospitals for complete testing. In addition, the hospital plans to attract more patients from other facilities where there are only outpatient services. This can only be made possible through having quality equipment and rendering top-class services, which is all in the organization's plan.
Strategic Implications
Every organization requires strategic planning to help in the alignment of policies and establish policies that will enhance the development of various programs. In other words, strategic planning refers to the organizational management activities that is applied in setting priorities, focus resource and energies, ensure that workers and other stakeholders are operating towards a common goal (Kirsch et al.2013, p.14). Additionally, the strategic planning enhances the establishment of agreement on the intended results or outcomes and in the end, adjust and assess the organizations. The SWOT analysis can be used to formulate the strategic plan for the Lion's Gate Hospital. By analyzing the weaknesses, the management can identify areas that require improvements and the possible actions or procedures that can be undertaken to enhance the efficient patient outcome. In addition, the analysis of weaknesses can be used to formulate the advanced surgical procedures that can be used to treat and examine advanced diseases.
The diversification of expertise exhibited by the healthcare workers at the Lions Gate Hospital can be used to formulate different health care procedures that are currently not being conducted in the organization. Through the diversification of experience, Lions Gate Hospital is able to formulate strategies on how to use the experts to impact the experienced healthcare workers. Through organizing workshops and training programs, the experts in the organization will be able to impact the inexperienced healthcare workers, a situation that will enhance the success of the organization.
The main goal of the Lions Gate Organization is to provide quality healthcare services to people of all ages through the application of evidence-based practices (Ruddick et al. 2011, p.17). With the government certifications, it is possible for the Lions Gate Hospital to formulate long term policies and strategic plans that will enable them to advance the treatment processes. Evidence-based practice refers to the meticulous, problem-solving method to clinical practice that involves the best evidence from the patient values, well-designated studies, and preferences. However, there is no formula or well laid down procedures, no how the evidenced-based practices in nursing should be conducted.
One of the weaknesses of the Lions Gate Hospital is the restricted service lines. In the formulation of the strategic plans, it is necessary for an organization to consider weaknesses and find ways or formulate policies that will ensure the eradication of these weaknesses. In the strategic plan, there is a need for the management or policymakers to consider expanding the service lines as well as the treatment processes to a wider location. The above scenario will ensure the all patients are able to receive quality services following different aspects of treatment.
