The dissertation will explore the plight of these minority battered women to find out the possible means of helping them come out of such vulnerable situations by the use of mass interview to get an accurate and more appropriate solution.

Methodology

The dissertation will make use of the focus group interview to collect data concerning the plight of the minority battered women. The following questions will be used during the interview to collect data.

• How frequent can domestic violence occur?
• What causes domestic violence?
• Is domestic violence one of the ways of solving family problems?
• Why are women the frequent victims of domestic violence?
• Are women able to become perpetrators in domestic violence?
• What are some of the effects of domestic violence especially on women?
• What makes women not willing to leave abusive intimate relationships?
• What are some of the ways through which women victims can be helped out of domestic violence?
• What does the constitution say about domestic violence?

Validity

We live in an ever-changing society. However, the issue of domestic violence especially against women has ever since the last century, remained a very critical issue even to the current generation. According to Heise (2018), the domestic violence topic is valid since it will help build on the previous works of other researchers to help push the issue to urgent consideration. This will help bring cohesion, unity, and peace among the members of the current society.

Reliability

Focus group interview is more reliable that one on one interviews for many reasons. It can give a much wider range of useful information as compared to individual interviews. When persons come together, it quenches the fear of discrimination and enhances their openness in contributing their opinions, views, and thoughts concerning a community concern such as this. It can also be so much instrumental in exploring complex societal behaviors to understand statistical data from the previous surveys (Kelly, 2016). Furthermore, focus group interview involves contributions from many persons. Hence, all people cannot just provide the wrong information. Therefore, it will be a reliable methodology.
