Introduction
Climate crisis is a global problem that requires collaboration from different stakeholders to solve. There is much carbon into the atmosphere that needs to be reduced from 415ppm to a safe level of 350ppm. In the recent years, there have been much of carbon in the atmosphere compared to the late before 1950 this is because of the development and civilization of the world that is moving at higher speed, but still, there is hope to reduce the amount of carbon in the air, scientists have analyzed ways through which we can help reduce the amount of carbon in the air that include:
Transportation of people and goods from point A to B and back using the energy driving mobility has contributed to 14% of global greenhouse carbon emission into the atmosphere, but still, this can be worked on where human beings can still run, walk, swim, and horse instead of using trains, buses, bicycles, planes, and boats to move to near distances (Eckhart, 2017). These energy driving mobilities are moving from one place to the other through the burning of liquid hydrocarbons like diesel, jet fuels, and gasoline, which are the significant contributors of carbon in the air as they burn.
We cannot stop the use of vehicles and planes, but we can regulate the dependence use of petroleum, the transportation sector has come up with solutions or alternatives that can be used to address the issue (Creutzig et al., 2019). Shifting to other options, focusing on alternative mobility modes will help reduce the dependence on petroleum energy driving mobility. This can be achieved by making it possible to walk, cycle, or stay input if there I no need to move from one city to the other.
Through enhancing efficiency, making vehicles, we use in our daily basis movement from one place to the other by far fuel-efficient through mechanical improvements, good design, better operation, and light weighing. Electrifying vehicles, when vehicles are electrified, then it will replace the use of a car that consumes petroleum and much better compared to the renewable consumption of electricity.
The transportation solution will not only help in conserving the environment, but it will only help in the conservation of money we spend on buying the fuels, the changes that have been suggested in the transportation sectors will need much time to implement that will also coast the industry to develop at a slower speed, but if the solutions are implanted, then we will have a safe environment to stay in and live for many years to come.
Another approach that can be used to solve the climate crisis is health and education, if in case we want to call this planet our home in 2050, we must create awareness through education and health. We have to level the education in girls and young women, equal opportunity to reproductive healthcare and women empower in political, social, and economic will impact the world population (Christoff and Sommer, 2019). The world's population is growing very fast, and it is estimated to be between 9.4 billion to 10.1 billion by 2050 and in regards to climate changes the world is worried about those who will be eating, moving, building and resting and there might be large emission of carbon into the atmosphere if much care is not taken due to the large population
There is much difference in emission rates between the developed countries and underdeveloped countries, the poor and the rich, it is troubling the world population resulting in cases of racism and people should decide for themselves the number of children they should have. The children should be able to inherit a safe planet; the united nations have introduced family planning to help control the world's population.
