Introduction
Mosques are places of worship, supplication, prayer, supplication, as well as subordination to God. However, there are no mosques in Kauai, and therefore individuals find it hard to worship, perform the prayer, as well as memorize the Koran. Though there are individuals who prefer praying at home, the majority of people feel more spiritual while in the mosques. Also, people prefer worshiping in mosques compared at home because they prefer to be in a place where Islamic sermons are held as well as a community gathering and schools where religious teachings are offered. Important to note is the fact that the number of mosques rose from 1209 mosques in the year 2000 to 2106 mosques in the year, representing a 74 percent increase (Salmani, Rahimi, & Khakzand, 2016). The paper focuses on persuasive speech on my speech that mosques should be built in Kauai.
The country should give permission to build a mosque in Kauai as well as fundraising and donations to help in construction. Mosques are essential in any society With Muslims because they play various roles such as being the centers of education and information, a place of worship and prayers as well as a place for social welfare. Moreover, Muslims use mosques for various events that happen during Islam's holiest month of Ramadhan (Salmani et al., 2016). Therefore, the country should ensure that a mosque is built in Kauai to ensure that the people get an opportunity to enjoy their right to worship.
A new mosque should be constructed in Kauai because it acts as the center of Islamic life (Salmani et al., 2016). A majority of the Islam people view mosques more than a place of worship. They also use mosques to conduct other religious activities such as studying and discussing the Islam religion. Besides, mosques are used as community centers as well as places where Islam religion is taught. Therefore, the country should help in the construction of a mosque in Kauai to support the Muslim community in their religious activities.
The country should also support the construction of a mosque in Kauai because it helps to teach the doctrines of God, such as the characteristics of God, like being merciful, unique, and powerful. Imams at the mosques are also able to teach people how to love each other as well as caring for one another. Besides, mosques bring members of a community together because it acts as a social center. Sermons offered in the mosques have strong practical messages and teachings as well as applying and integrating historical teachings and Islamic beliefs (Salmani et al., 2016). In addition, mosques act as centers of Islamic life and are used to instill values among the people. Important to note is the fact mosques are used as centers of information. The majority of the Islamic people get to know about various issues within a community or country through mosques. Therefore, it is essential that mosques are built in Kauai to enable the Islamic people to get access to information and teachings from the Imams.
