Introduction

A hero is a person who puts their own life at risk for the sake of others. For example, when a person fights for the human rights of other people despite facing the challenges. Heroes overcome challenges and fight for the best. Across the world, many heroes fought for the freedom of their people. Martin Luther King is my hero, and I envy him a lot. He is my hero because he has fought for the rights of black people in America. Martin Luther King is my all-time hero because of the following reasons.

One of the reasons that Martin Luther is my hero is because he was non- violent activist. He believed that he could achieve his goals without any violence. Violence shows that a person is a coward; therefore, courageousness is the way forward. He used the verbal expression to address his issues to the white people without any fear. He was actively opposing the laws which separated the whites from black people. Verbal communication was a way of portraying non -violence. Martin Luther wanted to fight for the rights of black Americans because they were treated unfairly. The fight for equality earned him a Nobel prize (Kennedy 7). Martin Luther King, non- violent move, helped him to challenge the white people about the equality of the white and black Americans. To achieve this goal, Martin Luther was guided by virtue of love and tolerance.

Another reason was that he disobeyed the laws while fighting for equal human rights. He encouraged violations of the rights if they were not just to the people. Martin Luther was determined to achieve his goal despite having some threats (Kennedy 13). Violating the rules was a message to the white men, to see that he could do anything to ensure equality existed. He stands as my hero because, even when his house was burnt down, he did not turn back. This has helped many people today to live a better life without facing any oppression by the governments. Martin Luther move was an inspiration to many people.

Bravely is another factor which portrayed Martin Luther as my hero. Martin Luther was a black man; it was easy not for black people to confront or go against the white men. They viewed as superior people, but this did not prevent martin Luther from reaching out to them. It was a sign of bravery to him. Another instance when he portrayed bravery is when he addressed a multitude of people at the Lincoln Memorial in the year 1963 (Kennedy 63). The address was about the future, where all people were to be considered equal. It was the beginning of uniting people. Despite knowing the consequences, he would undergo because of his actions. Martin Luther was courageous to stand up for this allegation. He was a definition of a true hero.

Conclusion

To sum up, Martin Luther is a true hero who is celebrated worldwide. He risked his life to see other people live a good life without racial segregation. He faced many challenges, such as court trials in his fight for human rights. Martin Luther has portrayed the character of a brave and determinant leader. His goal was to ensure equality among all the people in America. He is my hero because he was determined to win even when he faced threats, he remained persistent. Martin Luther is an inspiration to many of us, and he has taught us to stand up and fight for people who are lowly regarded in society. Martin Luther fight for equal human rights has a goods impact on the world. Unity and equality have brought us together; we see our neighbors like our brothers and sisters. Martin Luther is a good example for our leaders today.
