Introduction
In today's business organization leadership challenges are bound to appear because of the way most organizations are volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (Yan, 2018). It is for such reasons that it remains very important to bring the best leadership skills to many projects and organizations. For me, my best leadership skill is the power to influence. I have had particular successes in organizational projects; all these can be attributed to my ability to work within a team. I have the capability to involve the management and make them have a good relationship with a department or a project team. My communication and understanding ability to enhance communication within the team, thereby enabling each member of the team to express their vision and influence each other to achieve the required and projected results. Team projects help to foster cooperation and enhanced productivity on set objectives. My belief in teamwork gives me the leadership ability to provide direction, implement plans and motivate people.
It is my strength to keep the team in check that makes me do the most important things that are supposed to be done. In allusion to a previous self assessment, my belief in teamwork and always taking the lead is the key to achieving my organizational projects. Another productive behavior that I have is that of trying each time to get feedback as much as I can. Getting feedback is one of the most important things about my personality that enables me to get productively efficient.
Once a plan is rolled out, a fast and effective solution has to start eliciting feedback solutions. Effective feedback efficiently provides me with enough time to direct and change reports. Feedback to me, provide an opportunity to bring up concerns and upcoming challenges, thereby presenting solutions. Feedback from anything that we do instruct the management style that we have taken, for example, feedback that working as a team might be time-consuming will definitely make me change my idea into the designation. Each of the team members should then be given what exactly they need to do in order to beat the timeline. Concentrating on feedback as a productivity character for me has helped a lot of my projects.
Amidst the teamwork mentality, I have leadership and personality flaws which I definitely should work on so as to improve my productivity to explore my potential fully. I am definitely not good at challenging existing viewpoints. I believe in the constant maintenance of the existing status quo. I, therefore, rarely inquire if there are more efficient ways of completing tasks. I prefer applying unique methods to foster innovation within the team setting.
This leadership behavior is quite negative and it combines through with conflicting viewpoints. Close-mindedness is not a good thing for productivity at all. It is such a flaw in behavior that really makes me a lesser person to anticipate challenges. The inability to anticipate challenges combined with close-mindedness are the two leadership skills that affect my productivity the most. However, my belief in teamwork and motivation provides just what is needed to hike my production rate.
