Introduction

The intention is important when evaluating ethical result because for an individual to perform an act and decide whether it is right or wrong, intention needs to exist because it enables one to think before performing that specific act. There exists an ethical premise that brings out the evaluation of actions; it is responsible for claiming that for consequences of actions to exist, morals are not important in that situation but only the results that are desired (Bradford 27). There exists a concept of utilitarianism which is considered as a form of consequentialism. It positions that, a certainly given course of action can be considered ethical if the consequences that follow result in greater happiness and the wellbeing of individuals. Majority of individuals have a belief that the forms of consequentialism are similar to the forms of utilitarianism, but that is not the case. This is because the issue of pluralism tends to pose well as desirable and therefore consequentialism brings out the good part of the course of action by measuring it to the number of increased plural.

It is however complicated to know the importance of intentions when making evaluation an ethical result because it requires critical thinking for one to notice the exact intentions of an individual. It is important for one to think before taking any actions because one can know whether the wellbeing and happiness of individuals is taken care of even if he/she is benefiting from the action. Therefore, knowing the intentions of an individual and the role they play in evaluating ethical result becomes complicated and difficult to comprehend because one has to be aware of the intentions and desires involved. Human beings have different intentions, and there those whose intentions is to hurt other people by putting them through pain and suffering Ethics of intention comes from an understanding that those people whose intentions are to hurt others succeed in one way or another. This way, they are judged as evil because they want to hurt people, but sometimes these people can be considered as heroes because their intentions for performing such an act were pure.

The importance of intentions when evaluating an ethical result is determined by the individual taking action as well as by the result itself. This is because; an individual can know what he/she desires or what they benefit when they perform a certain action, and therefore only they can tell the main importance. However, there people who take actions without evaluating whether they are going to hurt or affect other people because their judgment crowds them. Personal judgment counts and plays an important part when it comes to making important decisions and treating people (Bradford 35). Every person has different beliefs of what is right and wrong and convincing them otherwise becomes very difficult because they have their views. The result itself brings out the importance of intentions when evaluating an ethical result because there are those who can tell the real intention of an individual from the result of an action.

When some results of specific actions are evaluated, the intentions become clear, example of such as situation is a case where a woman kills her daughter because she believes the world s full of suffering and therefore she does not want her daughter to go through any kind of suffering, and that is the main reason for her action. She might be considered evil by society because of killing her daughter, but when the situation is evaluated, she is a hero because she saves her from suffering and pains her daughter could go through. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the main intention of an individual clearly before considering one as a good or an evil person. Intentions given as what one thinks before carrying out a specific action and performing the right act helps one to know what is ethical or unethical. Ethics are important because they help in protecting the welfare of individuals by ensuring they are respected and treated how they deserve (Ember, Melvin and Carol 105). There are actions taken against those goes against the ethics that have been put to ensure that people act accordingly. Therefore, it is important for human being to consider what is ethical to ensure the actions they take do not affect the welfare of other human beings or prevents their happiness.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is crucial for every individual to think about the result of their intentions and whether they follow the rules of ethics or not. The rights and wellbeing of individuals need to be protected to ensure they are living the best life and that the actions of other people do not affect them. There also exists an ethical premise that bring out the evaluation of actions, it is responsible for claiming that for consequences of actions to exist, morals are not important in that situation but only the results that are desired.
